Lids

I always pop in when I am in the mall. Sometimes they have pretty neat and hard to find caps. Got my hubby a Nordics hat for Father's Day one year and I swear wherever we go people are complimenting his hat. I wished I had grabbed the Whalers one when I was in. Anyhow they also have kids sizes and can be embroidered to personalize.

Usual Lids experience, unfriendly/combative staff who are of no help. Can’t wait for upper management to realize a self checkout could do the job of three employees standing around doing anything but their job☺️

Poorest of all customer service representatives located in the Waterloo Lids at Conestoga mall. I was told false information, basically he sold me a Puerto Rico hat and told me it was Cuba. Not true at all and this made my gift obsolete. Overall I am very upset with the attitudes of the male staff.

Came here for an embroidery service for our company shirts. A simple logo and text. We provided the shirts.We were told 2-3 days. After 2 weeks we went to the store, 2 out of 3 shirts were done, and one was destroyed. They refunded the cost of the destroyed shirt. The ones that were done were not done as per the digitalized copy. The font was different.Lids advertises embroidery on clothing, yet has nobody there who is really able to do it.Point is - TAKE YOUR EMBROIDERY NEEDS SOMEWHERE ELSE

Went into the store looking for a hat and on Sunday wasn’t even acknowledged by the guy working there he was to busy texting so I left Terrible service zero star

I live in the states and I had my mother that lives in Canada go to the local store to pick me out some hats because due to COVID-19 I was unable to get them online here. My mother is very clueless about hats so I told her let me speak to one of the associates. I was so shocked how rude they were to her and they wouldn’t even talk to me as I was ready to purchase at least 10 hats. I have never experienced any associates in the states that ever gave me a hard time. This happened around 2:51 ET on July 29, 2021. Their was a male and female working at that time. I hope this gets to the right people in charge and they have a discrete discussion with these associates on this matter. I have been a lids member for over 15yrs.

The employees helping were helpful but waiting 45 minutes for the 2 hats to be done and come back and find out one of the hats was spelt wrong and have to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement with no discount or offer for customer. Just is not right. These are some of the reasons why people shop online.
