West End Comics

I had a great experience at West End Comics.Not only are they accessible (with help of a removable ramp) but the staff was helpful, friendly, and open to nerding out over various subjects.Due to passionate suggestions from the owner, I left with some great role playing books.I can’t wait to bring my friends to see the wall-to-wall comics and beautiful display cases.

Kurt and Zain are the most amazing people I have met at a comic book store. Amazing collection of comics and always are cheerful. My go to shop for the best comics in the city.

Really nice staff, great location too. Not a ton of comic shops in the west end so when this popped up, I was thrilled. Great selection and fair prices, and every time I've been there it's been really easy to rope the owners into a conversation about comics.

I was very impressed with what they have in stock. So much cool stuff. Lots of great back issues at very fair prices along with many trade paper backs. This place is just awesome!I just went a second time to have a better look around. they really have so many great things to look at and buy. The guys behind the counter are funny as hell.

Dont bother selling your comics here. These guys are predatory I sold off about 30 batman comics from the 40s. These guys offered me $20 at the time I needed the money. Now I can see my books being listed on ebay all for around $80-200.Typical Toronto just filled with scammers.Avoid.

This place is a breath of fresh air. I think I've been here before, but it's been a long time. Needless to say, I'm glad I came back. The staff here are extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. I was blown away. It feels like a store's store, and the staff go a long way to make it feel that way - between vintage finds from toys and comics, this store really has it all. Thank you for helping me find what I was looking for, and going above and beyond, and I'm happy to support this store many times in future. Love this place. Cheers!

I try and drop by at least once a month with my nephew. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have an assortment of comics (recent and vintage), action figures, etc. A must see if you're around the area!

I visited the store recently and had expectations in line with the positive reviews I've read....after 20 min of dealing with the owner I was wondering did I walk into the wrong store...where was the person I've read so many high reviews about....I found him unhelpful and rude....I collect a variety of golden age with a smattering of silver...most of it high grade, rarely cgc 7 or under....I found the back stock to be lower grade and overpriced....when I asked if I could inspect an older Batman (#39... $900.00) he said no...troubling especially since I pointed out clearly that the book had been touched up with a black marker and was not priced accordingly....that was the second book in 5 minutes that I found had been clearly altered, it was a surprise to the owner and after disagreeing with me finally admitted they had been touched up and cut.....there are dealers whom I would trust their grading skills to a point where inspection is not necessary...he is not one of them, inspect everything carefully...Byer beware..(I don't trust him)

Great local comic shop! The owner (Kirk) and his staff are extremly friendly and will chat about everything they have in the store, and provide recomendations for your next purchase based on what you are normally picking up.The collection of vintage collectables and toys are amazing! And they have an extensive collection of graphic novels to choose from.

Kirk's Comic Shop, aka West End Comics, is full of great finds.My cousin is a huge Wolverine fan! I went in to find something special for his collection. Chris and Zane were awesome at knowing their inventory. They were able to pull a few items in an instant.
