An excellent experience working with MW Drafting and design. They turned around exactly what we wanted, on time and on budget. They are familiar with the city inspection rules very well and that made it a simple process. they have been flexible in making any changes needed as well. Im very happy having worked with Justin and can recommend him for anyone looking for certified drawings for their engineering construction project.

I highly recommend MW Drafting! From our first contact with this company, both Brad and Justin were professional and they kept us well informed throughout the drafting process. Justin did an amazing job turning our dream house sketch into a BCIN stamped drawing that we submitted to the building department. He was also available to talk with the building inspector come permit time. Justin listened to our ideas and requests and made it all work according to building standards and code. He knew exactly what our vision was and applied this to the exterior style of the house. We are very pleased with his work and would definitely use MW Drafting when we redo the garage to match the style of the house.Thanks so much MW Drafting!

Overall had a good experience using MW Drafting for our addition. We had some minor miscommunication (detail below) that caused an annoying but relatively minor delay. Overall I would definitely recommend them to anyone.The contractor we hired for our addition reached out to Justin at MW Drafting to do the plans for our addition.In spring 2020, we were having trouble finding someone who wasn't fully booked for the year.It took just over a month between when our contractor contacted Justin and when a team came to take measurements of our house.The team that came out used a laser camera and an iPad to take detailed scans of all the rooms in the house. They worked pretty quickly, and it took them about 2 hours to scan every room in the house.Justin and his team created a detailed draft of the final drawing for our review using the rough drawings I provided for the layout and the scans they took. We received the draft about a month after the house was scanned. We came back with a couple of minor changes, and they quickly made the changes.After we approved the draft, this is where we had some issues.There was a miscommunication between Justin and our contractor about who would submit the drawings for the permit.Unfortunately, this miscommunication caused the permit process to be delayed by a month and a half.The final drawings sat completed because the contractor and designers thought the other would submit the drawings to the city for a permit.Justin personally apologized for the miscommunication and was helpful through the permit process.Eventually, we got the final drawing submitted for the permit, and the permit process went smoothly. Everything required was provided in the final drawings.The permit was approved without any issues, and construction is starting today.
