Red Pine Boat Launch
If you try to launch close to the cement wall (like a normal person) you will likely get stuck in the sand. I got stuck but eventually was able to get out, and this was after launching--I only had to pull out the trailer. I chatted with a few people and they all had stories of pulling vehicles from the water after getting stuck in the sand.When launching (or retrieving), stay close to the east side of the ramp (away from the cement wall). It makes it more difficult to launch or retrieve your boat (you have to get into the water), but at least you won't get stuck.With this critical information in hand, I'd give the launch a 5/5 rating. My truck is 2-wheel (rear) drive, with manual transmission, and I'm able to pull my 16 ft cuddy from the water with ease.Without the above information, I'd give the launch a 0/5 rating.Download the HonkMobile App for easy online payment.
