Smokebox Fumoir & BBQ

First time I ordered and tried the bbqs, and they were very good! Delicious ribs, tasty and very tender briskets. The beef short ribs and cornbread is awesome! Don't forget the side dishes like potato salad, mac n cheeze and coleslaw, they're all good. Portions are huge. Very nice and polite staff.I definitely recommend this restaurant. Please support our local restaurants and businesses especially during these hard times.

We ordered chicken & ribs combo, (which comes with a side), as well as the brisket sandwiches. Generous portions and speedy service. The chicken was smoky, tender and well cooked. The brisket sandwiches were amazing. Loved the potato salad as well. Very nice to have a quality bbq restaurant in the West Island!

Tried their brisket mac n cheese the mac is very cheesy and flavorful. The brisket has a nice smoky flavor but could be a little juicier if I wasnt having it with the mac n cheese. Also tried their corn bread which is well worth it. They give you a good portions and overall it taste good. Will definitely try other things in the menu.

American style comfort food! They give huge portions that are easily splittable between two people (maybe 3) and everything is really good. I found their brisket a little dry, but their brisket Mac n Cheese was great and they don’t skim on the cheese.

Although the mac and cheese itself is a bit generic, the meat itself is delicious and brings the meal to another level. Whether it is chicken, brisket or ribs, the meat was tender, full of smoky flavours and tasted great with their mac and cheese. Even though it might seem a bit expensive, 22$ for one meal, the portion is pretty big and since it is mac and cheese, it is pretty filling.The sandwiches on the other hand are a bit too dry for me. The meat itself is just as good, as tender and has a great smoky taste to it. But for 18$ for a sandwich, I was expecting a bit more. One thing I really did enjoy was the side dishes that was served with the sandwiches; the macaroni salad and the coleslaw. The coleslaw had strong flavours which contrasted the sublime flavours from the salad.

I felt like ribs tonight so I wonteded to try somewhere new so I went to try smokebox I ordered and sat down to wait thay didn't ask me if I was eating there or taking it out thay just assumed that I was taken it out so I went to my car sat down and wonted to eat but it was cold and hard to chew I could barely have one I went to have the pateo salad that was very good but it hade no fork or napkins to wipe hands with very disappointing so I will not be going back

This place offers a good variety of smoked meat. Chicken Pork and Beef. With the usual sides of coleslaw, potato salad or pasta.Uncomplicated menu. Great portions and good value for money.The service was quick and efficient.Helpful staff.I wish they had a all meat combo, chicken+pork+beef.I did not like the green herbs vinaigrette.The brisket is very good!!Highly recommend! Will go back again for more!Parking available just outside and some tables on the side of the building to sit and eat.

Definitely a must if you like smoke BBQ.They have pretty much every meat, chicken, brisket, pork, ribs, they also have mac and cheese and different sidesThey also have a sharable option on there's menu which is great if you wanna share food and also try different things of the menuStaff is very friendly, they have a small seating area but I suggest to do take out.We got the chicken and rib for 2 ppl , it came with chicken, ribs, brisket, 1 mac and cheese and 2 sides. This is enough for almost 4 ppl I can say the portions are very big which is nice.The meat was falling off the bone and it was very tasty and flavourful.I definitely recommend, you see them make the food in front of you because it's an small open kitchenWill definitely go again for sure

Brisket Mac N Cheese 5/10 it was cold and unseasoned however the meat was good.Ribs and chicken 7/10 was good but not wow ! Mostly seasoned with bbq sauce and the smokiness of the grill.Also there is a serious lack of cleanliness the kitchen is a mess and lets not talk about the bathroom and the front doors handle.There is no ambiance (music) and its not a welcoming environment. The worker is constantly talking on her phone with friends.This restaurant have a lot of potential but there is a lack of management! Would i go back yes if am not the one paying.

As soon as I walked in I could tell it was going to be good. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is great.The Mac n cheese is very cheesy and the green onions is a nice touch, huge portion.The ribs were fall of the bone and very Smokey and tasty. I actually prefer dry rub over sauce so this hit the spot. Main problem I had was that you could tell it was cooked for a while because even the bones were breaking apart so they were a bit hard to eat as you had to remove chunks of the bone at times.The brisket was more like a cote de bœuf (which is what they call it on french menu) which was still very good but not what I expected, very fatty and tasty though but not how I like brisket.Overall probably closer to a 4 star but with everything taking into account and especially considering its in the West Island, I bumped it to a 5. Blackstrap BBQ is still my #1 but I will gladly go again and eat here again. I have a feeling the chicken is going to be very good and will try their homemade key lime pie.
