I Live right around the corner and love what theyve done with the park its beautiful clean quiet the water is gorgeous the trees are perfect and full this park makes me feel great i spend lots of time here they put lots of time into it... the courts and equipment and the looks of the place are amazing!! They truly made a fun playbplace for adults kids and families!!! One of my favorite places in the town!

Lower Reach Park
This is a great park in Smiths Falls. Easy to get to by car or walk along the groomed trail. Beautiful views of the Rideau Canal for wildlife watching; lots of ducks, geese and birds to see. Bring your binoculars and look up at the large birdnests perched high throughout the park. Lots of activities for young and old; volleyball, a new basketball court, splash pad, soccer field, tennis courts and outdoor fitness equipment. And lots of parking available....

Great park for family, splash pad, clean bathrooms and lots of play space. Lovely view of river if you wanted to have a picnic.

Beautiful public park considering it LITERALLY used to be a garbage dump.Tons of things to do between play structures, multiple docks you can swim or fish off of. Lots of team sports fields (baseball, soccer, tennis and maybe more that I didn't notice. Public washrooms avaliable and there is a stage/bandstand for live bands/music.The Town with the local Health Unit even installed a secure syringe/used needle drop off bin.There is even a well maintained and bright white trail all the way from Victoria Park at the top of the Locks system in town all the way through to AND around the perimeter of Lower Reach Park at the almost bottom of the canal/lock system

Multi use pathways along river. Well taken care of washroom facilities. Large park area.
