We were here during trivia and it was so much fun! The beer is pretty good and the venue is nice, but the trivia was the best part-so much fun!

We went on a bike ride on the trail from Lunenburg to Mahone Bay and stopped here before returning to Lunenburg. They sometimes feature a local food truck but on the day we arrived it was not there, so we were limited to sampling their beer. I had the Irish Red and it was delicious. They also have a good selection of ciders and soft drinks for those not wanting a beer.

Beers were overall good. But not amazing. Considerably pricey in comparision to competitors, at almost $20 for a 20oz taster flight. Might be one of the highest price yet in all of the maritimes, that I have been to. Probably wouldn't go back based on price.

Great patio! The flight was great. The bar keep was able to give good recommendations, and was very personable. There wasn’t really anyone there but the vibe was great! Dog friendly patio which I love, there was someone there with the happiest & friendliest dog which made our experience even better!

Nice location, though not a ton of seating in the winter (they have a big patio for the summer), we had no problem getting seats during the day. They have nice selection of beer to try, and take home with you. The staff are great, they are dog friendly (ours will be joining us next time), and there are a couple games you can borrow! Can't wait to go back. Well worth the drive from the Valley

Saltbox was a cute corner brewery in Mahone Bay Area. Their dog friendly patio is great and with a food truck on site you get the best of both worlds. Just fair warning, the 5 beer flight is $22. As we're all aware there have been supply chain and production increases world wide that have impacted a variety of industries. I just know it can be a shock at first, but i believe in supporting small businesses regardless. Good variety overall and decent atmosphere.

This is quickly becoming my favourite watering hole. (It helps that it’s walkable/ cycleable). Oliver helps give the place a good vibe - great barman.

A very friendly atmosphere, with pleasant staff to back it up. Each beer is well thought out, and has a backstory as well. This is a must see for locals and travelers alike. Stay for a pint, or try a flight.
