We have a new puppy that needs her 16 week booster and general checkup. We discovered many Vets in the Belleville area are not accepting new patients. We called Foxboro Veterinary Hospital and they accepted our appointment, however it had to be prepaid. We found this an odd request, we have never experienced a Vet request prepayment before. In general, prepayment can be a risk to being scammed. We prepaid with the hope a Vet hospital is a professional establishment and would also act professional in regard to customer service. Our assumptions were incorrect. We entered the establishment and were told we were supposed to call ahead before entering the building. We were asked to wait outside until they had completed their business with another customer. When we returned we were told we were 5 minutes late and had forfeited our appointment and prepayment as per strict company policy. We were 4 minutes late, but given that there was another customer being served, we had entered the building 14 minutes past the appointment. As business owners ourselves, the key to customer satisfaction is good service which includes flexibility and understanding and exceeding customer expectations. Even though we are new customers, they already had our payment as we prepaid and the money was already in their bank account. Its not like there was a risk of us not paying. They stole our money with the arrogance of placing the customer secondary to their service.Needless to say we won't ever return to this establishment after this experience. They not only lost our potential business for the life of our pet, but also the good will we would have spread through social media including friends and family. I can only conclude they don't need new customers. Lesson learned: Never fully prepay anyone for a product or service. We have found another Vet that has given us an appointment for tomorrow, no prepayment necessary, and they provide a 15 minute arrival window.1 Star - Do not recommend Foxboro Veterinary Hospital.

This isn't exactly a review, more a message to the owner. I wonder, does it ever get old writing the same 4 bull#@!% paragraphs after every bad review you get? Because I've seen the same response for several bad reviews! I mean it would probably be more beneficial to you and your business to put this effort into actually provided decent care to your patient and their loved ones. My wife just left there in tears after leaving with our elderly cat. After waiting in the parking lot for 45 minutes past her app time.(its 40 degrees out today). She had to go in herself to remind you that she was there. You made her feel like an absolutely horrible pet owner for no reason whatsoever. She called me at work and explained the situation, I did a quick Google search and find a huge list of bad reviews that say exactly what she described to me. So I would say that the issue your having, rests with the level of care you provide your patients, not your patients themselves! I'm sure you'll give me a long list of things that cover your a$$ then tell me to have the very best of luck finding a hospital that is a better fit for you" just like you do with the rest of these completely justified reviews

We were 4 minutes late for our prepaid appointment. When we arrived they were busy with another client. When they were able to see us it was 16 minutes past our appointment time of 12:30. We were then advised we had to rebook (prepay again) and they were keeping our money from today's appointment. Don't bother with this vet.Yes we were advised of their policies but THEY weren't ready for us either!

Great experience, staff are super friendly and polite. Treat your pets with lots of love and attention. Customer is not rushed through the appointment and full explanation of procedures or treatments is explained in detail prior to administering.

Didn't give my dog all her necessary 8 week shots, quoted me one price when I called than told me when I got their the other prices. I got 1 shot and than 2 pills to go home with. I had to convince them to give me a micro chip because they were going to wait till my next visit when I fixed her. I told them I didn't want my puppy fixed so young....she said it won't cause issues when their young to do this. Also said my puppy would sleep very well in the evening and she was wired for sound and hardley slept all night. My puppy has never been the same since, her temperament is not the same. Got told around 160 not including micro chip and I paid 170 including micro chip. Than she wanted me to come back. I shouldn't have played dumb and not told her I went to school for vet assistant just to see what she would say...total lies...can't believe her dogs of this breed only live to 14.... I've seen older working in the humane society's...and who in the world wants a dog fixed at 12 weeks...she wants me to come back in 2-4 weeks and spend a minimal of 400$ and that doesn't include fixing...I refused the 30$ pedicure too...most vets charge 10$ for that...omg...I'll be finding another vet...

Best experience with a vet, team and overall clinic, that we've ever had!! (and truly rabbit savvy, which isn't always easy to find)We booked in with short notice when an urgent concern arose with our rabbit. Staff were very kind and helpful getting us registered as new clients (over the phone). When we began our appointment, I was so pleased that the vet tech, Meagan, was so familiar and knowledgeable about rabbits and adjusted the care so that our bun was more relaxed and comfortable in an unfamiliar space. When Dr. Hurford came in she handled our rabbit with intent and care and explained the examination where needed. When discussing the circumstances that lead us there, as well as the findings of the exam, Dr. Hurford asked very thoughtful questions to get a better idea of the whole picture and our rabbits background. I appreciated that after coming to a reasonable conclusion about the issue found, she still took a few extra minutes to reference some resources to ensure she was on the right track (and explained any other possibilities she was ruling out and why - easing any personal anxiety I had about the unfamiliar/unknown). When it was decided that our bun would need a surgery, we were booked in within a very reasonable time frame and the quote and any optional procedures (blood work/x-ray) were explained thoroughly and all questions were answered with clarity. After procedure the instructions and tips for after-care and delivery of antibiotic were clear and thorough with ample time and patience for any of my questions. Our bill came in well under quoted (which was explained previously to include a little extra time and resources just to be covered in case additional time/care was needed). They let me know what to anticipate for check ins and turnaround for biopsy and lab results and encouraged us to call or e-mail them at any point if we had other questions or concerns come up.Thank you Jennifer, Meagan, Nikole, Brogan and Denise for such a warm, friendly, and positive experience! We are so happy to have found a team we can trust with our loved bun.

Marley has always received great care when coming. I am always welcomed by the great staff at the reception and all the way into the vet technicians and the doctor. They are extremely efficient in there and are quick to respond.I love to receive the follow up calls a day after when Marley has gone in. It truly shows they care.Marley is very loved there and when he goes in for check ups, the staff all love him, and he is always at ease. Our new puppy, Milo, has already been welcomed by the staff already. :)

They do not care about pets, only money and time off. Doc hurford is never following up on tests, lie to her staff and us and is about never at the clinic. She stabbed my dog multiple times trying to get blood, said my dog is agressive when he is nipping to say hi, very bad advise for everything, all the time. I highly recommand you seek another vet. Personnaly I rather drive 1h30 to another vet then have them.THEY ARE EXTREMLY UNPROFESSIONAL.
