Wee Stor Self Storage

Used the Wee Store on Dawson Road, to store furniture and items during house renovations. They were professional, clean and accommodating. Inside was dry, clean and comfortable.We found that this was very good value (4 months, one month free) even though it was a bit out of our way to get to from South end of the city. But there is lots of parking, many bays to back up to and trolleys to move your stuff.Thank you.

We were not at all impressed with Wee Store. The furniture we had stored in their storage unit was damaged by rodents...and I don't believe them at all when they claim to have a pest control program in place. It certainly is failing if that is the case. Bottom line? Don't store anything you value in their storage units if you don't want it nibbled or defected on by a merry band of rodents.At the risk of grossing people out....when I was moving my property into another storage unit at a far superior storage facility, I found 3 dead mice inside a chest of drawers and a desk.I seriously would NOT recommend this company. Deficiencies in their pest control management aside, the customer service is sub-par, they are extremely slow to respond to access issues with their key fobs and the offsite storage facility is rarely clear of snow. Additionally, the roll up doors are poorly maintained and the electrical system in the storage facility is questionable. Turning the light on resulted in a distinct odor of electrical burning. I learned to use my vehicle headlights or a flashlight. I attempted to address these issues multiple times but was often told to call back or that a message had been left....I doubt anything was ever done.There are enough storage facilities in Guelph that offer better customer service, cleaner facilities and a superior self storage experience. Spend a little bit more per month and deal with a well managed facility that knows how to handle routine maintenance and takes an active interest in the wellbeing of the property entrusted to their storage.UPDATE:After waiting many weeks after this review was posted, the charming management of Wee Stor made this response to my review detailing their storage facility. A company that is genuinely concerned about customer complaints or issues would not conduct themselves in such fashion. In this update, I will address those comments.They claim that they terminated the lease... technically this is correct as we informed the management that we would no longer require their services after a specified date, having secured storage in a facility with better support, pest control and maintenance.As for the their claims about never having been contacted about the issues with the unit - that is false. I have copies of all communication, recordings of almost phone conversations and records of all face to face interactions.Your final comment about this complaint being made by someone other than the leaseholder is accurate. My 94 year old grandmother is unable to type due to severe arthritis but wanted to review and the poor customer service and facility conditions experienced so that others may make an informed choice about where to store personal valuable items.If this is how the company handles negative feedback, ask yourself how they will manage a concern for simple maintenance?Finally, threatening me with your legal department? For what? You have lots of other negative reviews and nothing I have said here is a lie or fabrication and can be backed up by other people who also saw first hand the issues with this storage facility.

Great value for storage lockers, only downside is their hours. Only open until 5pm most nights and always closed on Sundays.

I store my staging furniture at Wee Stor and have never had any problems. It is centrally located for my real estate business. Easy accessibility! Great prices! Friendly staff!

Having used other local storage services, I can confidently say the friendly and flexible service I recieved at Wee Store was second to none.On short notice, I was able to secure the space I needed to store my belongings safely, and given generous accommodation for my non-standard rental period.I would recommend this service.

We found Wee Stor when we moved to Guelph from Orangeville a year or so ago...very close to or new home.The folks there are incredibly helpful and professional, friendly and patient...especially when they had to deal with COVID.I could not be happier to use their service and it has taken so much stress out of our lives to gradually sort through everything.Totally recommend Wee Stor Guelph!ian j

We recently moved to another storage unit after a change in hours to access belongings. And, Wee storage was kind enough to issue a credit due to this realization. The unit was clean, heated, secure and worked great! The issue for us is we need weekend and evening access as we store items related to camping and paddling and tend to go and return from trips on Sunday or in the evenings. It didn't work for us and the company handled it with great kindness, understanding and professionalism. I recommend Wee Storage for storing items you will not need on a frequent basis outside of their business hours.

It’s fairly clean but problem is that 15 minutes before they close the unit and that is not acceptable. We got there at 4:45 and on their site closing hours was 5pm so we assumed that we still have 15 minutes left but the Lady Manager said that they we’re closed usually 15 minutes before 5pm. There’s no consideration knowing that we travelled far.Very disappointing.
