Revera Grand Wood Park

Although my mother wasn't at Grand Wood long, she was very happy with the staff and management. She enjoyed the meals and the fact that she had her independence. Dealing with the management was a pleasant experience. Kate, Stephen and Stacey were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. I have already referred friends for thier loved ones. Thanks

Having worked in a number of retirement homes as a cook I have seen a variety of places and Grand Wood really stood out when it was time for my mother to live there. From the initial tour to the moving in ,the staff were genuinely caring and kind. The rooms were spacious and clean and most importantly the food was really good. My mum loves all the activites and socializing that goes on. Really feels like home for her now.

I was extremely impressed with Revera and my experience in transitioning my mom. Friendly, competent staff were very helpful and compassionate throughout the entire process. My mom is in excellent hands and well adjusted. In fact, I have joined the Revera team and can't wait to work in such a positive environment!

I cannot say enough about my family’s experience with the staff at Grand Wood. Care and communication has been excellent and beyond expectations. The staff is happy and work well together. The residents seem happy and always say hello on their way to where they are going. Their activities calendar serves any interest. This place may not look like the Ritz on the outside, but on the inside is a caring and nurturing environment. Isn’t that what you wish for a loved one? To be around people who genuinely care and are able to make actual relationships with their residents? Lovely atmosphere. Thank you much for being there for us.

Our Mother has been a resident of Grand Wood Park, London, On for over 4 years.The Management & staff: across all departments are caring , attentive , approachable & professional. The Home Physician is on call & visits weekly. It's evident she truly cares for her patients there.Mom is content and enjoys the staff; calling most of them by name; & especially enjoys her meals. Their activity program is busy & geared to Seniors. There're many options for the residents to choose from & they do events to include family as well.Our Mothers room is kept clean & tidy , & laundry is done weekly.The grounds are lovely & inviting & well maintained.Kudos to ALL the GWP team.With Gratitude.

Just moved my dad there yesterday and what a great team !! It was an effortless move and amazing staff including the PSW’s who came by to make my dad’s transition wonderful experience. They made him feel like it’s his new home and he had a great first night there already

The staff are all very welcoming and very nice. My Mom loves the food and she likes the social atmosphere. My only complaint is that on your papers which give you your laundry day, bath day, and housekeeping day is that no one explained how they actually worked. I may have missed it in the paperwork for my Mom, and she was overwhelmed by the move and that was my first concern.

My Aunt has been living at Grand Wood Park for two years now. And we are very happy with the care she receives there. They are always very reachable and accommodating. When my Aunt has any issues that have come up we are called immediately and if I should be wondering where she is when I can't reach her (as she is enjoying the gardens) one call and they usually tell me oh she just went down for coffee .. She tells me often how pleased she is with her room and the food. My summary is that the staff working there are an excellent team. And the outdoor grounds were a real bonus. They have been super vigilant in protecting their residents during COVID and communicating with Family.
