IBEW Local 586
Joining the IBEW was one of the best decisions I ever made as an apprentice electrician. Not only did my pay finally reflect that I lived in a city like Ottawa, but I had access to better training, a decent drug plan, and better working conditions. I've never looked back for a second. Being part of this local has been so rewarding, and being able to provide some security for myself and my family has made a huge difference in my life. I'm glad to be a part of it and I hope others make the right choice too.
