Westside Cafe
The perfect little greasy spoon. Came here on Boxing Day because almost everything else was closed. The menu is exactly what you’d expect for a small diner, burgers, fries, salads and apps. The prices are reasonable, not inexpensive by any means. For me though they hit one of my pet peeves by not having a soda fountain but instead serving cans so they can charge you for every “refill”. The food is really good and better than I expected. Everything was hot and fresh and my gf’s salad was also very fresh.

What a great lil place for breakfast or lunch. We enjoyed eating their on our stay at Searchmont ski resort. If yer around the sault St. Marie Ontario area or passing threw, dont hesitate to make this stop to get a bite.

Went their for breakfast. Not much internal decor but still very cosy. Greeted with a very friendly and cordial server. Food portion very good. Located get close to the USA bridge. Good food, good service.

Great for a quick and cheap breakfast in SSM. I tried the western omelette with home fries. Recommend but will try other items next time.Friendly staff and diner atmosphere.

Did not ask once how meal was going? An to top it off home fries had 2 hairs an poutine had a good chunck of hair .she switched the cost of poutine to reg fry to make up for finding those hairs . Gross i get it finding one but really .sorry wont be returning to this place again

Great prices homemade soup and sausage and burgers. Great staff ( you might see mixed reviews on staff because these arecreal people not fake they joke and be honest say real talk not what you wanna hear like at a chain fake place) I'd go 5 stars but the frys are a but unforgiving... they seem fresh cut then under cooked later. I get pre blanching frys to save time but please cook them through second time around.
