Techo-Bloc
Techo-bloc Blue 60 smooth are the worst slabs I have ever seen. The company doesn’t stay behind their products. After the contractor installed the slabs on my backyard everything was wet and looked very nice. Next day after drying up I saw that the brown border is covered with efflorescence. In less than 6 months the slabs started to crack itselves and the brown border it is white from efflorescence. I called Techo-bloc customer service and they gave me a phone number of their representative. I spoke with the representative; I sent pictures and all information requested. After 6 weeks I got no help, with the issues, no call. Every time when I asked him about my claim, after I gave him all the info required, I have to provide him the same info over and over again – which I find very unprofessional: first time he ask again about size, next time again about the colour and 3th time again how many pieces are cracked. Definitely no customer service – not professional. I called again Techo-bloc customer service and I explained everything and they asked me to fill up the on-line form for warranty and I did. I received an email from Techo-bloc requesting the proof of purchase. I answered them that I don’t have the purchase order because I hired a contractor who billed me for materials and labour (the contractor has the original proof of purchase). When I filled up on-line form I provided all information about my contractor who did the job and I tried to contact the contractor. Techo-bloc customers service replied that if there is no proof of purchase they cannot give any warranty. I am wondering why they need proof of purchase when you can find on their website this: “Techo-Bloc offers a transferable life-time warranty on its products…”Customer service will try to find any reason to not resolve your issue and they hope you will give up.If you don’t want headaches and stress stay away from Techo-bloc products.
