The worst company to work, they don’t give breaks to the their patient watch officers at the hospital( Specifically VGH, and Burnaby) . Most of their Hospitals site security officers are very rude, and they don’t know how to behave with co-workers. Their Health care scheduling team, they play Politics. When they need you they will speak politely, otherwise they speak like they own you, and you are their slave. Last but not least, They are stealers, they steal money from your paycheque, and then when you try to Get, and speak about your rights, they never respond on time.

The security card at the concord parking near the skytrain in coquitlam randomly tickets without checking/chalking the cars. They simply assume that anyone who parks on the opposite side is going to the YMCA instead of literally because its more convenient…what a bunch of clowns. When I asked him why he ticketed me, and where’s the proof as I literally walked out of shoppers, this guard replies with: “are you questioning my authority?”. What a joke and stereotypical villain behavior.

The company still proves to stay top of the industry beside all the other competitors.The place is clean, user friendly, great customer service, fantastic hiring and coaching instructors.Competitive wages for what current security companies offer.Highly recommended if interested for a career in security industry or as a professional stepping stone for experience.

Paladin Security Office at Canada Way Business Park has paid parking spots. There is transit access through bus stops nearby (Wayburne Drive on Canada Way), the nearest Sky train station is Brentwood ( take the 123 Bus to New West get off at East Bound Wayburne Drive on Canada Way).

When it comes to the the management.. They play into the woke narrative for money . Their idea of solving problems is fire people who actually can make a difference then tell you to speak to their customer or employee care helpline where nothing gets solved . It's why they lose contracts left and right .

Spent an hour over the phone giving details on our security needs for an upcoming event. Zero follow up. After I call back, they say management responded internally with a single worded Email that said Declined". No explanation or follow up and showed a lack of professoinalism that is astonishing. Great job folks"

Ajay from Paladin security is always so aware of the surroundings. So far today I have seen 2 incidents at New Westminster Station were he is paying attention and might require police involved. He is an amazing security guard.

I visited today at paladin office, Jahida (the lady on uniform reception) just talk nonsense, Poor service skill and did not ask anything just trash my resume immediately because my brother filled his I'd number on my resume for reference.

Beware of a power tripping Paladin security guard named Lloyd Hanninen on Granville Island who zips around on his bike acting like he owns the island and bullies visitors.My car was involved in an accident in which another car hit my car while the driver was parallel parking. The driver refused to exchange insurance information so I called the police and was awaiting police presence. Lloyd biked by and was flagged by the other driver who gave Lloyd his side of the story. Without hearing my account of what happened or checking to see whether my passenger and I were hurt or needed help, he berated me claiming that there were no damages on my car so I should leave as I was wasting time and resources on a busy day at Granville island (I was parked in a paid parking stall, neither my or the other driver’s cars were blocking traffic). I advised him that the police were notified and en route and that I would not leave without the other party’s insurance information. He loudly asserted that I was on private property and even the VPD has no jurisdiction on the island and that I shouldn’t be questioning his job as I am on the property because I was “afforded the luxury to be there.” He continued to speak condescendingly to me and demanded that I leave, so I called 911 again and had the representative directly explain to him that police were on their way. He acknowledged the representative on the phone and he then proceeded to circle around both our cars taking pictures and assuring the other driver that he would be present when the police arrived.Lloyd was neither a witness to the accident nor qualified to assess vehicle damages, yet he waited for over half an hour at the scene for police to arrive while neglecting duties that are within his own job description. He harmed more than helped in an already distressing situation by verbally attacking me, being condescending, disrespectful, biased, unproductive and making me feel unwelcome on Granville island. It is not acceptable behaviour for a security guard to bully others and act like a maniac who gets way out of control with his responsibilities.I hope Paladin Management can review roles, responsibilities and proper conduct with Lloyd, as well as re-evaluate whether someone with his behaviour and mentality should be patrolling a heavily touristed area such as Granville island.
