I have been very happy with the service that I received at Mimada Beauty! Everyone who I come into contact with is very kind and welcoming and gives great customer service. In the past when I’ve gone to other hair salons I haven’t always received exactly what I asked for but with Jenna she goes above and beyond and explained everything to me and gave me everything I wanted and more! I first came in September for my bridal shower and then again on Saturday before I leave for my wedding on Friday and I’m just so happy with how my hair turned out. Jenna explains how to take care of my hair properly, which products to use and isn’t pushy with suggestions, showed me how to curl my hair to get it the way she does it, what to ask for when I book my appointments and any other questions I may have about taking care of my hair, you can tell she genuinely cares about ensuring that I’m happy with my hair. Jenna is also great to talk to and made a 4.5 hour hair appointment go very quickly. For me, paying a little more to receive exactly what I want, receive phenomenal customer service and feel good about myself when I leave is totally worth it and I’m very happy with the services I have received! I also love the online booking system, it makes it very convenient!!

Will NEVER be returning! I have such a bad taste in my mouth.I arrived for my fourth laser hair removal treatment. Approached reception to pay, and found out that the price for this service (and all services) has increased by 100% in the last 8 weeks. I paid $300 plus tax for one laser treatment that only cost $150 plus tax 8 weeks prior. I was shocked and extremely disappointed that I was not notified of this massive price increase prior to receiving my treatment (a mass email sent a month ago does not count as notifying me, I also did not get this email). Mimada has not changed or improved their laser technology or added a massage or champagne with your laser treatment. Super upset and frustrated with how I was taken advantage of by this salon.On another note, the service provider Steph does a wonderful job and is very respectful, professional and cheerful.

I had highlights, lowlights, cut & blow-dry by Kimm. Absolutely blown away by my services! Kimm truly listens and has an amazing eye for toning / colour. Additionally, a friend saw me after my appointment and was so impressed by the colour that she has now booked her next appointment with Kimm.

Sarah is amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her. Whether you're looking for a cut or highlights (or both!), she knows how to make you feel beautiful. Hands down the salon with most aesthetically appealing + warm energy Cambridge is lucky to offer. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with big smiles. My eyes wandered and noticed so many beautiful details from the lighting to the chairs.My stylist Raquel sat with me and we went over my desired outcome. She knew exactly what shade of blonde to recreate from the picture I showed her and executed it with perfection. Her shampoo massage was a dream. I was served two beautiful Camomile teas from one of their other lovely staff. The entire salon beamed with good energy and it made my long appointment very tolerable.Thank you for the chats and laughs ladies. I was welcomed with by the brightest smiles and warmest hellos from the team. The elegant and beautiful spa was just what I needed to relax.Tori was engaging and professional.My pedicure was literally the best I have ever received. My feet areSo soft!I can’t wait to go back and next time I will schedule a manicure and pedicure so I get to enjoy the beautiful space and amazing service longer.

Have been seeing Amanda for years. On and off. Last visit there and will not be going back.Went in for highlights, was given highlights around the face, not the colour I wanted and appeared very yellow. I was also charged for full head of highlights when I was only given highlights around the face given.I had to message the owner about this 2 weeks later because when I went i realized this. She said she would issue the refund and this was a mistake because it’s what the appointment was for.Called to get refund and the owner said I will be charged for a partial instead. still not was I was given but I didn't want to argue it more. So I was only refunded 45 including tax.It’s frustrating when prices are just thrown out there and you have to actually second guess what you are charged for and speak up for yourself.

went 4 times to the same lady (IRIS) wanted a cut, first time there she made the mistake of telling me she can blow dry hair to any style I want. I asked for lots cut off to make the style I wanted. she took VERY little off and styled it the way I wanted... at home after washing, I could not do as she does with styling because of weak wrists. So I told her the next time, and 2 more times after that to please cut more out to make the style....still a nice style but still took so little off. Which does me no good once home.....So it was 70.00 for a wash and blow dry pretty much....Then I wanted to know what shampoo she used on me, I'd like to buy it.....when at the till she gave me shampoo and conditioner and AFTER I paid for it, she said....oh if it doesn't lather up that's okay

I’m so happy I went to Mimada beauty - I was looking for a good one stop place to go in Cambridge for manicures and waxing services and I will now never go anywhere else. Tori is amazing at both manicures and pedicures. My nails have never been healthier since I started regularly going to her, she is extremely talented at what she does and is so friendly. The exact same can be said for Steph, my eyebrows have never looked better and she is so detail oriented and takes her time. Holly and Taylor at the front desk are a pleasure to see whenever I come to Mimada. It’s also a beautiful and clean space. See you all next week! - Victoria A.
