I have tried various approaches to learning Spanish. Nothing compares to having a tutor like César. He has a way of making even grammar fun and easy to learn. He is patient, encouraging, humorous and engaging and can adapt to one's particular style of learning. Lesson time goes by so quickly and you will be surprised at how fast you progress. He will have you speaking right from the first lesson with growing confidence. You will not only learn the language but also the Latino culture and way of thinking (so helpful for travelling to Spanish speaking countries!) He truly loves what he does.

I consider Cesar to be my friend now. i did not speak a word or very little Spanish when i met him. his lessons are extremely good and is teaching methods are excellent. Cesar has customized the lessons to my needs and to make it more exciting he included the people i love in the stories that helps me learn the language. Cesar is an excellent instructor! He ensures that it's a lot of fun learning the Spanish material. He's been teaching for a long time, so he's got a lot of little handy tools to make it easier to learn the Spanish language. His lesson material is well organized and easy to follow. I've improved so much already!

Cesar T. is a fantastic teacher. I have worked with him for well over a year, and I am able to contrstruct sentences, understand speech, and, read/write in just that short period - (From having zero knowledge prior).He also guides your pronunciation, on top of learning to formulate your own conversations, so you can be sure that you are learning grammatically correct Spanish.

I've tried a lot of different ways to learn Spanish. Since I'm a naturally shy person, some of these were trying to learn on my own with books and computer and on-line courses. While those kept my school-knowledge pretty fresh, they didn't help me build any fluency or get past the harder bits of verb conjugations, use of the subjective, etc.I also joined group classes, but because my accent was pretty good and I knew some of the basics, instructors assumed I knew more than I did and let me get away with not talking, focusing on people who were more clearly struggling.But when my husband and I started traveling more in Spanish-speaking countries, I decided it was time to get serious. I signed up for yet another small group class, then cancelled because I was too busy". What I needed was an excellent instructor who could work with me one-to-one (so I'd *have* to talk!) and not have travel to class be a barrier.Enter Cesar Torreblanca of TLC. Cesar was exactly the instructor I needed. He comes to my setting so I don't have to worry about travel time or traffic. He makes me talk. He's patient

I have been taking lessons with Cesar privately and now via Zoom. The experience has been excellent. I have told my friends and colleagues at work that Cesar has been one of the best language teachers I have had. He has an excellent knowledge of languages in general, and is able to explain word origins, their connections to English and other languages which always makes learning so interesting and relevant.
