AML Cruises Montreal Administration

We did the Montreal dinner cruise - the food was excellent! - we were 10 in our group and everyone agreed. Our server Alexandra was very friendly and professional. My mother has some problem walking and the crew was very accomodating. We also loved the on-board party after dinner. Everyone had a great time!!

We had our Christmas office party yesterday. We were 11 and purchased the 100$ 5 courses meal (see picture for the menu).It is far from being a fine dining experience. The appetizers were of poor quality and had a very cheap look. I tried the beef cheek which was cooked too much and not very tasty. Some colleagues had the salmon and it was cooked for too long. As for the cheese platter, it was the smallest, cheapest I ever had ! And don't expect to have a good wine selection. White or red, both were awful.As for the ambiance, I guess it was okay.The closest parking is the IMAX, 2 min walk from the boat and costs 20$.

Normally, buying tickets online saves time. However, this is not the case for Croisieres AML. Even though we bought our tickets online 2 weeks in advance, we had to stand in 2 different lines. First was to get the actual tickets (for some reason, QR code received via email is not considered a valid ticket). Secondly, we had to stand the line to get on the cruise boat itself.Of course, by the time the waiting was over and we were able to enter, all the seats upstairs on fresh air were taken.The workers were giving different information in regards which line we should go first and whether we have to take both of them; it all had a very disorganized vibe.We would give two stars for this, but on top of everything they cancelled the cruise due to some tech problems after making us wait for an hour. They also do not give refund right there and right then: if your cruise gets cancelled, you'll need to email a third party and try to get your refund from them (which is not guranteed,of course). They do offer coming another day with the same ticket but who would want to repeat this again? Very poor experience alltogether, and we're definitely not be coming back.

We’d recommend a shorter cruise with a different operator and stick to a snack like chips and a drink (skip the meal). We were really looking forward to this boat tour but had mixed feelings afterward. We had done this some years ago and really enjoyed it. And other recent boat tours of other cities gave us a nice lay of the land. Some of Montreal’s most interesting sights are not along the water way and our experience with the food/service on this cruise left us feeling taken advantage of.We purchased our tickets at the window for the 11:30am first cruise of the day. We boarded and headed straight to the top floor, 2 flights up. We underestimated how sunny and hot it would be for the 1.5h cruise and wished we done one of the other shorter 1h cruises. Last time it had been later in the afternoon and we’d had a peaceful happy hour. Now to the truly bad part of the cruise – we were in a good mood and decided we’d have an overpriced lunch on the cruise. The waiter was really sleazy. When we ordered, he asked us if we’d like to make it a meal. There was no paper menu or prices. We said yes without realizing that there is no meal, not really. There was no discount for adding chips and a drink. When the waiter brought us the food, there were chips in the food baskets and then extra bags of chips. He immediately made some excuse about grabbing extra chips for us. Guess he was counting on us not to call him on it or ask if we were going to be charged extra. He must have realized we were in a good mood and wanted to have a good time so he also offered a side of bacon on the nachos and it was a totally overpriced unnecessary side. But again – no menu, no idea. We are not usually this gullible but who would have thought that after paying C$110 for the cruise that the waiter and/or the company would be looking to overcharge as much as they could. To make matters worse, the food just wasn’t that good. The nachos were covered in a nasty jar salsa and jalapenos with broken teeny chips hidden in the center of the pile. We really hope that the tour agency reads this, weren’t involved in the shady “make it a meal” and ensures they hire more honest waiters. Given this experience, we would definitely not take this cruise again with AML.The only reason we’re leaving 2 stars instead of 1 star is because the boat tour is worth taking.

Appetizers were amazing but main course was meh, dry chicken and no seasoning on the salmon. The staff is very friendly though and the shows were nice. Not worth that price in my opinion.

Many thanks to the crew and servers for a great Father's Day celebration. Attentive and welcoming staff. Delicious buffet with lots of specialities from Quebec and something for all tastes. Ample food. The cruise ship itself is lovely with giant windows inside and lots of deck space. Good informative guide and a great view of our fine city from the mighty St Lawrence. I've taken the cruise to the Magdalen Islands with this Company and they excel in service and quality food.

Amazing experience with my family, it was totally our highlight of summer 2022! Just make sure to have your own water bottle, but other than that, the crew gave a wonderful service. We will certainly come back!

We booked the Montreal dinner cruise with the 3 course meal option. We enjoyed the food and the drinks we ordered were also good. The staff was professional, and attentive . The overall ambiance was nice and you get a really great view of the city when you stand out on the deck. We found it quite romantic. We even imitated the titanic scene lol. The only thing I would suggest is that they change the decor to make it more visually appealing and more modern. Overall, we had a great time and we would definitely do it again.

I took the normal cruise the city cruise. It was awesome and they have been speaking as well telling us about the beauty of Quebec. The boat has everything, snacks, drinks etc but it's little expensive I would suggest to hop on with your own food and enjoy.

Called them for infos to host my wedding party, they said they would send me more informations, asked for my e-mail and never ever heard back from them again. If they don't do weddings, it should of been clear to me on first call and I had very little time for decisions, had to wait with no clue until now.
