I stopped by Wine Kitz on a whim to learn more about brewing my own beer, specifically IPAs. Rob spent time with me showing me the process and what is needed. Although this might be ideal for some, I didn't want the hassle of doing it myself. To my pleasant surprise, for a small cost, I discovered I can brew my own in his store. He showed me how to mix the ingredients (which only took about 10 min) and I left. About 6 weeks later it was all done, and I came back to the store, and he showed me how to bottle it; another 30min. This was a simple process and I didn’t have to worry about storage, buying all the gear, no mess, and very little work on my part. Good beer for a far lower cost than the liquor store!

I've been coming to Wine Kitz in Varsity for the last couple years. I've always felt incredibly welcome. The first batch I did was a Riesling because that's what I usually order when I go out. I was given a few different options and felt I made the right choice. The second batch I did was a red ale which turned out so well that my friends and family did not believe it was home brewed. Lastly I just made a pinot noir which is fantastic! Because I live in a condo I just don't have the space to have all the equipment and brew it here. Having the ability to use the Wine Kitz in Varsity as a place to store it while it ferments is the perfect solution. Then I just come in, bottle it, and away I go to enjoy my wine or beer for the next couple of months. I simply can't recommend it enough!

A bunch of us went down to a wine tasting and wow! The flavours are definitely not what they used to be for wine kits! Several of us ordered and started our kits right away and we're so excited to to get them! Go in and try a sample, you will be glad you did and OMG the cost is incredible!

It was such a cool experience making, bottling and labeling our own wine!! It works to be cheaper per bottle than to buy retail. Will definitely be back!
