The Yellow Deli
First visit! I loved the woodland fairy/the Shire vibe. The flute music completed the experience. This place is steeped in guild-era vibes too. A lot of work must have gone into this place over the years to create a vibe that no hipster coffee shop can dare to! No pretention here. I had a natural ginger soda from a bottle and it was excellent. I would love to come back and get loose leaf teas and assorted flours and nutritious items for bread making from their fairly large selection of bulk goods. 100% fan of this place. Service was a bit slow, but otherwise friendly.

I would have never known about this place had I not tried it out today. They serve everything fresh. They bake their own bread. They have gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options.They have a large outdoor patio to host large groups(15 people comfortably)The atmosphere is welcoming.The restaurant sells their bread and they have assorted goods for sale in their store area.Very welcoming environment.

Decided to try out The Yellow Deli on a whim after doing an Escape Room nearby so I had no expectations whatsoever. But MAN was I blown away. The restaurant has this whole rustic feel going on with how it's decorated. It feels homey and cozy, I don't think I recalled 2 booths looking the exact same as one another like every other restaurant in existence, each one was slightly misshapen or curved to the shape of the wood used to build it. Not to mention a working fireplace! When I say this place has character, I mean it has CHARACTER.The staff was fantastically friendly and had no hiccups whatsoever, and don't get me started on the food. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and I'm not typically into sandwiches at all but I fell in LOVE with it. They don't skimp on the fillings, they are on a mission to make sure you eat WELL. I walked out of The Yellow Deli full.All in all my Reuben and Coleslaw only cost me around $12 after tax, rounded with a tip closer to $15. Wonderful food at a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend The Yellow Deli, I know I'll be coming back and bringing everyone I know. Thanks for the wonderful service!

Beautiful restaurant interior, this restaurant is located in st boniface.We tried a number of dishes.The turkey sandwich, vegan sandwich and the lamb.My favorite was the vegan. My friend requests extra sauce since it can be a little dry.I found my lamb was a bit heavier on the sauce though. The flavor was very good. I liked for they sliced the cucumber so that it gets to every part of the sandwich.Bread quality was excellent.The turkey sandwich was good but rather Standard.Carrot cake was fine. Not my favorite as it was a touch too sweet, but for those who like extra sweet this might be perfect.Service was friendly. They chatted with us as opposed to just serving. Happy they are in my neighborhood and would love to return to try more items off the menuI saw a banana milk, though they seemed to make it sound like a smoothie/milkshake.Parking is available in a lot behind the building or on the street in the front.

Cool place, good tea and coffee. Great sandwiches and desserts. Affiliated with the Twelve Tribes “religion” of sorts so may be beneficial to do some research before going in if you care. Messed up two things with our order (iced instead of hot drink, strawberries instead of blackberries). Didn’t mention it but I’m sure if we did they would’ve fixed it. Came in like right before they closed and stayed after they closed and they were very kind about it.

They were able to accommodate our group of 10. Easy to customize sandwiches. Don't expect a normal soft drink as they only have their own brews. The closest thing to a normal soft drink is their root beer. They do have a couple of fresh fruit smoothies and various teas. They heard it was a birthday and offered a free piece of carrot cake to the birthday people, complete with candle. The staff brought them out and sang happy birthday.

Literally the best restaurant! I went there with a couple buddies and the service was amazing. Food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and amazing! I would definitely recommend coming here for a delicious meal.
