70 dollars for 3 sets of 7 wings per meal is absolutely beyond. Waited over an hr for our food. Waitress never came back once to even refill my pop which was flat. I got my sauce after I finished my wings already. I hate to be this person to write negative reviews but nothing bugs me more than waitress that hates her job and puts zero effort into it. I went a week ago and was told it was going to be 40 minutes before i could even order bc the kitchen was behind. (I left that day and came back today) When you’re clearly waiting this long waitresses should be EXTRA friendly, happy and respectful. There are tons of people in Cape Breton that would love a job at a busy restaurant in the summer. Old Triangle should be an enjoyable experience for its price tag. This was just frustrating. Still can’t believe i spent 70$ on wings and a flat pop. Especially when it was an evening out from our kids.

I had the blackened haddock and smashed peas. I got the Side house salad with maple vinaigrette. I also shared a pound of mussels that were very good in a white garlic sauce sorry I didn’t get a photo of that!! Service was top notch!!

This place is grossly understaffed. One bartender, one waitress, and likely one chef covering a substantial restaurant. Waiting an hour for an appetiser is not acceptable. It’s false economy to slim-down staffing at the expense of customer service/efficiency. Please take note or you will lose a ton of loyal customers.

We were in town for a cheer competition. Was seated right away by a gentleman. Took 10 minutes to get a menu. We ordered our starters but had yet to get our drinks ordered. The wife and I thought it would be fun to take bets on how long it would be to get drinks so we set a timer. At 35min a man who was working hard to do all of the “extras” saw fit to ask us if we were “ok”. Got us our drinks ordered and long story short we left at 1:05hrs after we finished our drinks we still did not have any food and left.

I've never been disappointed with the Old Triangle in Sydney. The ambiance is warm and reminds me of a nice Irish pub. Sitting at the bar is entertaining, with great bartenders and their friendly banter. The other servers are also excellent. Food is better than average pub grub. Frequent live music (though not particularly Irish) adds to the wonderful experience. The Old Triangle is great solo, for a date night, or for groups. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Had a great meal on boxing day at The Old Triangle. There wasn't much opened in town that day, and I felt like they did a great job managing a busy dining room. Spacious and well organized and the staff was working hard to take care of everyone. Our table enjoyed the surf and turf and the Irish beef stew along with some drinks and the warm gingerbread with whiskey caramel sauce. Everything was delicious and good value for the prices. Great job!

Lovely oasis when I came to town on business. A pint and a plate of outstanding bruschetta. Lovely staff and live music that made me happy. What more can you ask for?

The Old Triangle rarely disappoints. We had a great meal on Saturday afternoon.Only consideration was the fish and chips…..they were a 6/10- the fish was over cooked. This is a rarity however as I have had the this dish several times in the past.

Overall place had a Irish vibe through out the time as good place to come with your family or partner a good quality time could be spend here . Rick assisted and showed a good hospitality. Now lets talk about food i ordered 1 )Belfast burger - well cooked had different layer of ingredients but the drawback was that pickle inside the burger made dominant flavour which suppressed all other flavours now the fun thing i removed the pickle now the burger just tasted burger cooked with salt and pepper , i asked rick for some ketchup and as it already had mayo/dressing inside so putting bit ketchup made that taste like sundried tomato flavour which made rest of burger flavourful.but overall speaking burger was fulfilling enough was cooked perfectly can’t complain on that2) fries were perfectly brown , cooked and crisp 10/103 ) brownie gluten free - this brownie was nowhere near by the standard brownie the upper half of brownie tasted like sour cream cheese cake and rest bottom down felt like no bake chocolate fudge and to be honest it didn’t go well as thought , as brownie expected thing was should have be light weight baked with whip cream might have a given that exact brownie expected . But if it had a drop of lemon on the top of this brownie could have tasted like lemon chocolate tart ..
