I contacted the Lodge recently to redeem a One Night Free Stay which was purchased in good faith at a benefit auction for a friend dying of brain cancer. This was purchased in March 2012. I put this away and recently found it again. I called the Lodge and they refused to honor it because it was six years old. There is NO expiry date on the certificate. I believe that if something like this has no expiry date that means its good until it is surrendered to the provider. Reading the reviews of the place would lead me to believe that it is a great place to relax and enjoy. This is a warning to others use your purchased certificates and check on expiry dates even if they are non existent. Disappointed""

I recently had my wedding here and rented the entire campground along with the lodges. The lodges and area are absolutely beautiful and everyone really enjoyed their time there! However there were some double bookings that had to be dealt with and miss communication with having so many people in the same jar and once so to speak, so there was much more stress then I wanted to deal with. The area got the 3 stars!

The cabin we stayed at was nice. It accommodated 4 couples, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We loved the fact that it’s so close to the Miramichi river

Very accommodating. Great people in a beautiful spot. Only downside was noisy neighbors (outside the camping area where we were) on the weekend during the night. I will return if I go back to the area.

We chose Red Rock Lodges as our venue for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing. The owners were so accommodating and helpful, they were on hand for anything we needed. All the lodges were nice and clean and very spacious for anything we wanted to do. We had the ceremony out front of the Red Rock Lodge and then our reception over at Malson's Place. If you want rustic or elegant, this place can accommodate both. Thanks for everything! - Jamie and Charla

Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful owner. The folks on the CG are mostly from nearby. Great hospitality! They treated us like old friends. Went paddling, rode their quads and were singing good old songs on the campfire. Fished world famous Miramichi River. Will never forgett this week.

We loved our stay, however... unfortunately there was a very dear to our heart necklace left on a bed post accidentally. We called and were willing to pay whatever it took to have it sent back but they refused to return our calls. I hope keeping it was worth it to them. So just make sure you leave nothing behind. It won't be returned.

Fantastic location, you're on the bank of the world famous Miramichi River. There's tubing available across the road with stewards tubing. There's a couple of convenience/liquor stores within a 15 min drive, but it's 30 min to a grocery store so make sure you stock up before camping. Our Lodge had utensils and dishes and random spices supplied. Pieces of board games were available, but I'm not sure the whole games were there, they were just jumbled together in a chest. You're pretty secluded so you can do what you want without bothering anyone. No insulation between rooms so sound carries to your roommates (if you know what I'm saying)There was a 2 person jacuzzi and a sauna which we did not use.The chandelier didn't work.Lots of lawn for washer toss or badminton (not provided).Would be 5 stars if not for chandelier and insulation.
