Great beach and puffin viewing, worth the stop and even stay the night camping or in your rv right on the ocean!

Location, location. Walk to puffins, beautiful black sand beach to swim, quiet park. Clean washrooms, no laundry or showers. 120V and water hookups only. Pump out located in Bona Vista at the Ultramar so hit it first before coming in to the park ($5). Some sites not level so be prepared to provide own levelling blocks. Save money and boondock at gorgeous parking lot/campsite area out beside the Bona Vista lighthouse. Whales, puffins, spectacular view, right from your RV window.

To see the puffins either you go early on the morning or you have to be patient to wait for them may be half an hour untill one of them get out from his hole at later time during the day.

Wonderful view of the puffins on their own island, safe from people. When they come over and land a dozen meters away, you feel special. Watching the interactions with the puffins and other birds is fascinating.

Super simple campground with lightly serviced sites for small RVs and tenters. It's inexpensive and there's electricity, but water must be boiled, there's no pump-out, the sites are quite small, and the bathrooms are minimalistic. Great location though for heading to the puffin viewing site 1 km away, and it's literally across the street from a great looking rock beach.

Very poor town council representation from town clerk and mayor. Nice view in some sites of water and beach. Sites are small and not level cannot drink water and electrical very poor. If there was no views would be poor park. Rate it overall a 1 - 2
