Company good and nice.the technician lazy and dishonest

BAD service, the contract includes 2 services, but I only had one and they closed my contract without informing me. I called back and they told me there was another visit, the technicien said my tenant was there, which I found it's ridiculous because I was living in my apartment, there was no tenant at all, LIAR. Even the first visit, it was only 10 mins, I could wash the filter by myself for 5 mins instead of paying $200

I highly recommend this company! We had the pleasure of dealing with Mathieu at the end of June but did not have the time to write a review until now. We had a very positive experience. Excellent customer service and nothing but professional! Quick to respond to your questions and concerns. We contacted the company about our central heating unit. It was the first time we tried using the air conditioning feature since buying our house and It would not cool the house at all, and being in about 40°weather with an infant and no air conditioning is far from being ideal. Considering our situation he found the time to squeeze us into his schedule to inspect and fix our problem the next day. He is truly a very informative and honest person.A friend had recommended MC Ventilation to us and I could not be happier with the service I received. Don't bother calling another company! You can't go wrong with this one!

Very unsatisfied from their work ethic, my partner and I had to wait months before our AC unit was repaired in the dead of summer. We were boiling in our home because they wouldn't pick up our calls and would frequently miss appointments to come and fix the unit. if you want your AC unit repaired fast and efficiently... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!P.S: their website lies to you when they say their available 24/7. Realistically its more like 10am-3pm from Monday-Thursday, if your lucky.

Heat pump installation itself was fine back in 2019. Just now had an issue with a random error and they told me they don't service residences anymore...even though they installed it. Told me to look online to fix it even though the manual specifically says to call an approved vendor in case of this issue. Thankfully the issue went away by itself but that is not good after care.

I never write bad reviews if I have an issue I will call the company to resolve it. The representative from this company made an appointment to visit my restaurant for an estimate after we had a fire. We made the appointment a week ago today at 11am. Only for him to call me and cancel last minute.As well as being rude on the phone, hangs up on me only because i ask him why did he notify me last minute that he can not perform the work? Call him again and he hangs up the phone again. WoW great customer service. This company does not respect custumers.WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START MY DAY!!DO NOT USE THEM!!!RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. WHO HANGS UP AT A CUSTOMER BECAUSE THEY ARE AT FAULT. Cancelling an appointment and the work rhat could have been done 44 min before. NOT EVEN TO RESCHEDULE.Should have read the other reviews before.

I just do mot believe the bad reviews. After leaving 3 other so-called AC service companies, an engineer referred me to Maisonaire, a division of MC ventilation. They send Maxime Aubin, he is outstanding; Intelligent, knowledgable, on time, quick, clean and polite. He found a lot of installation errors,blocked valves and more. I have been with him for years, never have I had better service for anything in 4 countries.The entire staff from the owner, dispatcher, call desk and Maxime are the gold standard here in Montreal. Today, June 22, 2022 he was here to replace a blocked valve, and as always he explains everything before and after his work. This is an unsolicited review, and I have no association with the company except as a thankful client.

Stay away from these people. My AC had a leak. The technician came for a first visit, spent 15 minutes and only put tape in a hose. He barely opened the unit to see what was going on. As soon as he left, we turned the AC on and the problem was worse than before. I called and ask to send the technician a second time. This time he did opened the unit but he was struggling and at some point it seemed like he was going to break things. This time he did fix the problem... but then came with this idea that this was a complete different problem (from the one that he never fixed in the first place) and MC Ventilation charged me the full amount again for a problem that they should have fixed the first time. I sent an email complaining about it, no response; I called to complain, and still no response, so I gave up. I should have known it would go this way when they ask you to give them your credit card number in advance. In short, stay away from these people.

**UPDATE**After writing the previous comment they found a solution! They were really nice about it! We agreed on paying the repairman but that made sense with our guarentee. I give 4 stars because they didn’t told us that they needed two man so two man = 140$/h X 2. Wich is fair, but it was never explained to us!**previous comment** Our unit that we installed only 3 years ago on the roof fell down and broke. I contacted the costumer service many times with no answer, when they finally answered me they told me they cant do anything for us due that to the guaranty on labour was only one year. The repairman from the other company we called to try to repair it said it was not well installed at first thats why the unit fell. I called back MC ventilation and they dont even want to call to order the piece that broke. Very bad customer service after installation wont recommend ...

I just purchased a house which the ventilation was done by MC Ventilation. After purchase they canceled the service contract and informed me they would not want to do the required service or switch the system to cool in the summer. I burnt in the house and déspite multiple requests, they refused to come.The system involved geothermal and HVAC and majority of other companies refused to service is at they found it very complex.I am up to this date stuck with a system that doesn’t work and MC ventilation who had done the work is refusing to service it because they have already been paid enough for the work.A definite unprofessional. Avoid doing business with.
