Pâtisserie Maison Mallet Île Bizard

This place use to be amazing when they first opened, they were on the pricier side, but it was worth it. I’ve purchased around 7-8 cakes from them and over the years and the quality has really decreased, once they forgot a piece cardboard and another time gave me the wrong flavour. I had forgotten about them until recently where I decided to order from them again. I showed the lady examples of what I wanted and she charged me 85$. The cake looked super bad and was not how the lady described it would look. The looks were super disappointing and it turned out to be super dry. The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because I have had good cakes from them in the past, if I were to base it on my last few orders I wouldn’t give any.

We tried an amazing quiche and patisserie! Tastes just like in Paris!

How disappointing! And worse, I paid 25$ for an old dried out cake. I had been looking forward to a professionally-made birthday cake. With the first bite, I realized that this cake had been sitting around for at least a week, if not more. The cake was so dry, we could not get through one slice. My whole family urged me to return it to the bakery and ask for a refund. Don't be fooled by the fancy frosting.

What an amazing little gem of a place. We went by there by accident, driving and saw the sign and went in minutes before it closed. The service, selection and quality were just absolutely excellent. It's too bad we're not in the area because this is one of those spots I would be back at often.

Sometime a place deserves recognition. I keep coming back to this bakery over the years on a regular base. I haven’t found one that offer such delicious cakes, pastry and croissant. I would definitely recommend you try it. Their croissant and baguette are just awesome and their tarts delicious. I don’t mind paying a few penny more when you get freshness and quality.

Discovered this little café today and it was completely empty. I thought it deserved a nice review. We had a good latte, fresh croissant and DELICIOUS Paris-Brest (bagel-shaped puff pastry with hazelnut cream filling). Affordable as well !

Great place, recently got some croissants over there and they’re delicious tried other places but this one hits the spot ! Will be coming back for more

This is a great family run patisserie.We love the pastries, especially the almond croissant.

Harsh rating and well deserved. The service was less than welcoming to first time customers. We came Thursday afternoon with intentions to buy a quiche and dessert as well as bread etc. Not so after the girl serving us made us feel like we were disturbing her when we simply asked her to give us another viennoiserie in place of the one she had chosen. After that, our enthusiasm to encourage this business went right out the door. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Some people should pick another vocation.
