Best vet we have ever dealt with.. we had to put down our chocolate lab few weeks ago.. they went above and behind and sent us a card and all the staff signed it.. what a great gesture , glad we have them for our pets. Makes you feel like family

My dog recently was neutered by Dr. Bowcott & technician Natalie, and we had a wonderful experience with them! The surgical site looks amazing, and my dog seemed to be in minimal pain. The surgery was quick and they gave me a call when he was all done to let me know how it went and to arrange a pick up time. The lobby was a bit busy when we were picking up, and was a bit hectic. But overall we had a very good experience.

Amazing service and care! My Border Collie who usually is terrified of the vet had his OFA hip and elbow evaluations done here and I can’t say enough about how great the staff are. They were able to answer all my questions I had as I’d never done this before. The cost was great, and bonus points, they didn’t have to give him any sedation to have his scans done. I will absolutely be bringing my future dogs back here for their screenings.

Friendly staff. They are great with my dog and she is always excited once she sees the place and walks in without any hesitation. That's a good of a sign as you can get. Not too pricey for follow up visits after getting fixed. I think they only charged me for medication after I was worried it was getting infected( my dog is very active and wouldn't sit still after surgery)

They are very good with animals, but we are finding their staff are not on the same page and becoming more about money. My dog had her vaccines a while back, and had to return for a booster 4 weeks later. The vet stated, and reiterated to my friend and I that the booster would not cost anything. A couple weeks after the booster, I got an email stating that I owed $45 for the booster. Then, my daughter’s pet rat was very sick with a tumour. (It cost $18 to have a rat euthanized 18 months ago there, but inflation, so…). My daughter is on ODSP. We phoned yesterday and were quoted $32 plus HST to euthanize the rat, so we made an appointment for today. After it was done, she went to pay, and it came to $90! We protested that, saying we had been quoted $32 plus HST, to which we heard, “pphht, don’t know who you were talking to!”, but they dropped it down to $60. Still twice what we were quoted. For a fixed income individual, it’s really unacceptable to do this, and I confess myself disappointed.

My niece called your clinic today because her cat could barely breathing and a limp paw.A good Vet would’ve squeezed her in to see her cat. It was an Urgent Matter. My sister and my niece ended up going to Cambridge to see a Vet that would take the time to see her cat.As soon as they walked into the Vet Clinic at Cambridge, the people at the front desk saw how much distress her cat was in and her cat received immediate attention. The end result, my niece had to end up putting her precious fur baby to sleep. My niece and sister lives in Woodstock and had to drive to Cambridge with a very distress cat.Next time, when someone calls for an Emergency with their pet, take it seriously instead of brushing someone off.Obviously, you don’t care about the best interest in someone’s pet.

They are the best!! I have a high stressed American Bully. He just turned a year. His visit 6 weeks ago was so stressful on both him and I. I had an appointment today and all that anxiety came back. They were so amazing with him and I, today it really made our visit so much better than the last. They also use a muzzle on him that actually works so they told me they'd order me the same one and they'd call me when it's in. I've never been so happy with a vet clinic than I am with them.

We have been dealing with this vet clinic for about 5 or 6 years now. They have always made visits a positive experience for our pets. Recently our rottie, Brutus, had to be put down. He had limited mobility and couldn't get up the stairs. We were so concerned that we couldn't get him to the vet. Dr Jackie made a visit to our home along with one of her technicians and unfortunately we had to put him down. They did this in our home and then carried him out and took him back to their clinic to prep him for cremation. They probably have no idea what a relief it was for them to come to our home. It was such a help and I am forever grateful. They have a great team and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much OCVC.
