Green Acres staff are amazing. They take care of every detail and they take time to go over all the arrangements. Loosing a loved one is extremely difficult and Green Acres shows compassion and understanding during this difficult time. They ensure everything is right. Thank you Green Acres.

We arrived at Green Acres following a month of email and telephone communication from out of province with the expectation that all was in order. Our loved one had purchased several plots in 1954 and we had all of the documentation in hand. Communication was poor at best with the agent that was assigned to us. I know in these very busy times we all get frustrated and we hope that communication for future arrangements will be more streamlined.

Green Acres provided quality guidance and assistance at the time we needed it the most. They proved to be easy to work with and we will continue to work with them with our future planning. We were very happy with Green Acres. They were patient and understanding. Accommodated us with all our requests. It was a funeral our father would have wanted. They catered the service. The food was nicely prepared , catering was excellent, and food was very good. I would definitely recommend green acres to all my friends and family.

It has been a year.I visited the gravesite of my parents in August 2021. I brought to their attention the damages and photos of my parents marker. The scarring and missing nameplate. At that time I was assured that they would replace it but given the time of year with winter approaching it wouldn’t be completed until spring. Fair enough. I revisited the site late July and it still hadn’t been done. Leaving again my information with reception and being assured he Mr Gibbons on holidays would be emailed. Assuming he was, I should point out he responded to other concerns of clientele thruout his holiday, I heard nothing. August 9th when Mr Gibbons returned from holiday I received this mail. Not wholly comfortable I followed as he really didn’t address a timeline nor was I interested in time delay excuses. A year? I don’t believe they even ordered the marker. All that would have taken was to pick up the phone order it for a delivery date. Pretty easy.SCI (Wikipedia)with a total net income of 803 million can’t fix their problem. I waited a week in hopes of a follow up. Nothing. Aug 16 I mailed Mr Gibbons back again hoping to clarify what he meant by next few weeks. Asking also if he had visited the site and ordered the replacement. Again nothing. I regret the necessity of writing this review however I may find it the only way to get the answers I requested.Hello Mr. Reid,I understand you checked in at Green Acres recently to see the progress of the memorial marker replacement. I’m sorry we haven’t been able to have that completed in the timeframe we had initially hoped for. Unfortunately, we have experienced unexpected staffing changes and that has delayed our progress on many of our service requests. As you might expect, your request is not the only one that we need to tackle, in addition to regular funeral services and merchandise requests, and being in a position to hire and train in this area has not left us in a favourable position to be as timely as we hope.We are currently working on the replacement marker for Mr. and Mrs. Reid and should be able to have that in place in the next few weeks.Again, I do apologize for thedelay and thank you for your patience as we get things back on track.Regards,Michael D. I appreciated the excellent level of communication with Matthew and Marian during my planning process. Phone and email questions were promptly answered. In all of our discussions, they were exceptionally kind and patient. Marian and Matthew made this process as easy as it can be. I would not hesitate to recommend their excellent service to others.

The staff at Green Acres went above and beyond to make this difficult time a more pleasant one, they guided us every step of the way. I would definitely recommend using Green Acres.

Our father recently passed away and he had pre-arranged services with Green Acres Funeral Home. Without exception, the staff were very attentive, courteous, thoughtful and responsive.They took care of even the smallest details and followed up with us regularly, making sure everything was taken care of, and addressing all of our questions and requests. We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Green Acres and would recommend them to others.

John Davidson was the Funeral Director with whom I arranged my loved one's final goodbye. My loved one's death occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, therefore , a formal service was not possible. John and I went through the options available during this unprecedent time. Suggestions were made pertaining to my original thoughts. John was soft spoken, very considerate , most helpful in assisting in my final decisions without any pressure with regard to upgrades or purchases that were not deemed necessary. The service and respect , in my opinion, is rates A1.
