Please read whole review. There were some 5 star parts and 1 star parts. As someone comfortable on a horse it was almost a great experience for me and my daughter except- And a big except-my horse kept stumbling. And at the end actually fell onto one knee and this caused me to fall over top of the horse, spooking the horse more, and I completely fell off and rolled, bruising my collarbone and shoulder. My spooked horse ran off to the front, scaring another horse or maybe it scared the other riders into really pulling on the reigns. I’m not sure. But there was a minute or two of panic and traumatic scare to another riding family. The owner showed next to no concern and only asked me what happened. When I explained-and the others that the horse tripped and fell, sending me flying there was no reaction. Just oh. Then he went off to put the horses back leaving us to escort ourselves out. I appreciate that this says ride at your own risk. And he has reviews of no customer service but this left me floored. I still wasn’t sure I hadn’t broken my collarbone at that point. Plus he had no explanation as to why the horse was stumbling And this leaves me concerned for the horses, never mind rider safety. No helmets. No waivers. No going over his signs about everything like the fact he doesn’t come with you. No-you shouldn’t wear flip flops or anything. Just get on the horse, hold the reigns loosely, it’ll follow the path, pull the reigns gently if you want her to slow- now go. No description of the ride or anything. Now up until that moment the horses were sooo calm. And it was a beautiful hour ride, full of blooming wild roses, wild tiger lilies and bushes of Saskatoons you could munch as you rode by. We even saw a deer. There is a view of the river where I could have sat for hours. It was so perfect for my daughter that despite the end she wanted to go again and I almost said yes. It was the best of the prairies and very calm horses. Had I been rating scenery alone it would have been 5 stars.Now- The other family we were riding with was NOT comfortable and since you ride the trail without a guide I was sent to lead as I had ridden horses before. This family was so nervous. Their boy scared from the beginning. And while the horses absolutely know the path they would stop to graze, etc. Or one would trot because it wanted the lead for whatever reason. Or two would get so close to each other squishing your legs between them. Or one was really pokey compared to the others. You are dealing with real animals with their own personalities. So if you don’t know how to control a horse then you couldn’t get them to stop Or really start. (they lost their kids’ sandals And couldn’t stop for them) and at times it left me in an awkward spot of helping them be comfortable and not enjoying my own ride. While we were comfortable with a trot the others were not and we would have to slow to keep the others feeling safe (one trots they all trot to keep up).So truly a mixed bag experience. If he could give me an explanation on the horse tripping and their feet were cleaned up I would actually probably go again. However I fully expect the other family is traumatized for life-they didn’t felt safe I don’t think at any point and the ending with “the experienced rider” falling from the horse was the tip of the ice berg for them I’m sure. And we were on the same ride.So if you aren’t comfortable with horses this likely isn’t the place to start. But very sweet horses and a beautiful ride. If your horse isn’t potentially lame.

What a great experience it was!! The horses are well trained and very intelligent. The horse riding trail goes through a small jungle and gives an unforgettable experience. It is very safe and very beautiful. Best time to go is on a cloudy day with good winds.

Very calm horses and great path to follow on a 1 hour ride. Extremely affordable and worth taking advantage of this hidden gem.

Go Cart was a blast but the trail ride I would not recommend. The tack is really old, one rein crumbled/snapped on my grandson, the horse's bit was not sitting right. Stirrups did not get adjusted, no helmets - not even for kids. No one led the trail ride, sent us on our way for 5km ride. Because of broken gear we stopped less than half way, removed his halter & bit and walked him back. Owner apologized but didn't refund any money.
