Saint-Jacques Escarpment
It has potential. The woods are nice. There's also an overgrown road, with brick drains beside it that are similar to what they have on Chemin Olmsted. The path needs some trimming and is hard to follow in places. It would be great to be able to follow it from where St. Jacques meets the 720 all the way to Girouard. Unfortunately, some people seem to use some areas as a garbage dump.

Great place to walk your dog, bike, jog, walk and feel connected to nature even though the highway is to the right and the train may even pass by. The newly protected park is one of the greenbelts in Montreal for the wildlife and a migratory path for many variety of birds. Once the trees and surrounding flora fill in it will be as close to nature as you can get without having to spend money on gas to get out of the city. So try it with the family, there are benches to sit and picnic.

Fantastic and fascinating winter path that goes all the way to Decarie. I hope they save it, but it would be a shame if they overdeveloped it.

A hidden (or maybe not so hidden now) gem for NDG. Great place for a long walk without having to travel out of NDG. Some birds you don’t usually see in the city. Kid friendly.

I love this path. It is a wonderful escape from all the city noise. The only downside is running into unleashed dogs that aren't always so friendly. Otherwise, the path has been such a wonderful addition to our neighborhood.

Wow went as a kid back in 1978 and here I am in 2021 back here. This place is a little hidden jem. The trail is well kept and walkable...watch out for the poison ivy signs...well check out my pics and judge for yourself
