RSA is the insurance company that covers car rental damages on my American Express. Called to submit a claim in early August and received an email from the adjuster a few days later asking for documents. All requested documents sent the next day. 3 weeks go by and no acknowledgement or update. I send the adjuster an email asking for update. No response. Another month goes by and still no response. I follow up again with adjuster and wait. No response. Finally fed up of sending emails and getting 0 response, i call to escalate. Few hours later, I magically get a response from the adjuster and the claim is closed. Why did it take 3 emails, a phone call and 3 months to close a claim for $78?? Would look at who covers insurance on your credit card before booking trip, and avoid using that card if it's with RSA.

I don't even want to give ONE star.Its been almost one year now, my car rental Collision has been still processing. No regular/proper communication from my adjustor or whoever handling my claim. Very disappointed and hope everyone can stay away from this company.

Got an a accident not my fault in early may 2022 still waiting for my vehicle and we are in mid August 2022. No calls from adjusters my claim individual name Igor Shestakov. Worst person on planet earth zero follow up. I get a call 3 months later from the collision center stating car is ready to be picked up still issues with my transmission and radiator. And was under the impression car would be written off based on frame damage.They said they would reinvestigate and now they are saying that's not accident related when the car was hit straight on the front. This is the first time I've ever written a review about anything. Stay away from this company they are the absolute worse.

Melissa Hedrick is the worst insurance adjuster I’ve ever dealt with. The whole claim process took way too long and now I’m waiting on a refund for my deductible, now I really don’t get my emails or calls answered back. 5 calls and 3 emails and haven’t gotten an answer in 2 weeks. This is honestly the worst service I’ve experienced in my life…

Stay away from this company. Call to inquire about the trip cancellation, it took hours for me waiting with no answers, there were only pre-recorded messages telling you to wait for the next representative, so frustrated. The next time I called and chose to buy new insurance, after a while, there was a person picking up the phone and answering your call. If you have problems and need to submit a claim, I don't know how long you have to wait to reach them. Never use them again.

I have a insurance claim for my TV repair, RSA is poor service and low efficient.

My extended warranty claim was denied because the device failed in the first year and the manufacturer couldn't honour it because it was covid and they were going out of business. What's the point of having this insurance?

ABSOLUTE SCAM! I booked them through Scotiabank and I've been waiting since December 2020 for my insurance claims broker to get back to me, it's now September 2021. Accident was in Oct 2020 and they won't answer any calls or emails. Do not deal with Jeanne Sison - I have yet to hear back from her about ANY DETAILS ON MY CASE after 30+ calls, emails, and escalations to their complaints department.Update, after reaching out to the ombudsman they said that they didn't answer me because they thought my case was a DUI when it was for a regular car accident. Total joke, incompetent people, don't choose this insurance company if you want peace of mind.

This is the worst insurance company ever.... do not ever get insurance from this scam! They will not ever return your phone calls. Called 40 times and no answer, probably left 10 to 12 messages and no response. The adjusters have no idea on the cost or labor cost on the repair of your vehicle waited almost a month before anyone calls you back what a joke. Adjuster told me to walk to work cause they took 3 weeks to go see my vehicle and told me it was my fault They couldn't go see my vehicle because I only paid for 1500 worth of retail car time. We emailed them 22 times in Almost a month and didn't get a reply. They don't care about you or vehicle. This company should be invested by our authority. What a joke please don't ever pay this company any money they are horrible people and don't care about you or any situation you are involved in. I'd give them a negative star if I could beware. This company is a joke and don't deserve to get anyone hard enough money... totally wish I never got insurance from these horrible people don't waste your time or money! Disgusting customers service and adjuster that have no idea on cost of repairs of vehicle!!

I have travel insurance through this company on my CIBC credit card. Unfortunately my baggage was delayed several weeks after a recent trip so I bought some replacement items for what was lost. I made a claim and so far one email after making the claim from the Adjuster requesting a laundry list of documents. After submitting the documents and trying to email and call no response after a month.
