This is an amazing place. My son loves the entire staff and enjoy every minute there. everyone has been so kind, respectful and professional. We can’t say enough good things about this school, the best preschool ever!! Highly recommend!

I have my 3 year old daughter attend the toddler program here at Small Fry. I must say, since she started, she never said she does not want to go to school! not even once! she always makes sure at night that she is going to school the next day. She loves everyone there and always involves all the staff there in her plays at home :). We had attended many other schools when trying to select one. We just LOVED the energy and the atmosphere of Small Fry, but more importantly, the lovely staff! We love you all and looking forward to bringing my son in a year! :D

We sold and bought our house with Michael St Jean and it was truly a wonderful experience. We worked with Sudee Ahmadi and she’s a true professional. She always answered our calls, took us out multiple times to see houses till we found the one we liked. She worked diligently with us and the other agent to get us a great price. If you’re looking for an agent who works hard on your behalf to make sure you’re happy then go with Sudee. I guarantee you that you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic school with amazing teachers! I instantly felt the good vibes when I went for a tour of the class room in June 2021. My daughter was with me and she immediately connected with the teachers.During the school year the teachers keep parents well informed about what will be going on daily through the “calendar of events” they send out via email one month in advance. Everything is very well organized including the activities, field trips, fundraisers and snacks for the kids. The activities are engaging and meant to encourage the children to explore, build cognitive development, refine their gross and fine motor skills, build their social and emotional skills with peers and to have fun while doing it. My daughter had a blast! She always came home excited about what she did at school and could hardly wait to go back the next day. They also use an app where they post pictures of the day to day activities your child participated. This was a nice touch meant tokeep you informed.Overall, just an amazing experience! I think it really prepares the children for kindergarten! My daughter will miss her teachers so much! Much thanks to Ms. O, Ms Bard and Ms. Mitzi!

Ancaster Small Fry is the best thing that has happened to our child and my family. My son went from being a quiet, shy little fellow who has blossomed into this social, funny, curious boy. The team at Small Fry are super welcoming, smart, inclusive, resourceful, and their positive attitudes are infectious. The children are exposed to a wide array of learning opportunities that encompass sensory-based activities, outdoor play, crafts, and literacy skills.Even with the challenges presented by COVID-19, the preschool was highly effective at managing and implementing disinfection protocols in order to maintain a clean, hygienic space at all times. The staff care for my son as if he was one of their own, and I felt a great sense of peace leaving him there each day to interact with his peers.My only wish is that I'd found them sooner than we did. We will be sad to start JK in the fall because that means leaving Ancaster Small Fry but I know my son will be ready thanks to his time there.Thank you ladies for everything <3

My daughter loves her preschool the first day she went in. The staff are awesome, full of energy and caring and helpful! My daughter talks about Ms. O daily and obviously she is learning so many from school which would not only help her to get ready for kindergarten but also plant little seeds of caring and sharing inside.

Words cannot express how much I highly recommend this absolutely incredible preschool! Originally, my husband and I only intended to send our son to Small Fry for four months as we were waiting for a full-day daycare spot that was available as of January. Immediately, we knew that we had found an incredible gem that we could not leave and I am so grateful we kept my son at Small Fry for the entire school year. EVERY teacher at Small Fry is beyond exceptional because they treat the children like their own and they work with the parents so closely. My son has always adored being home and didn’t necessarily prefer any form of child care that we previously had him in. Verbally, he had some speech delays and socially he did not prefer to be around other children unless myself or husband were around. After the first few weeks at Small Fry, due to the grace and care the teachers consistently provided to him, he immediately developed into a confident, social child who thrived more and more based on the time he spent there. I rarely write google reviews but I would happily endorse and encourage anyone looking to send their child here to sign up ASAP!

Ancaster Smallfry sets the bar for preschools. Ms. O. and her team are committed to quality early education and their effort is evident. Both my sons loved the hands on experiences- learning is fun when your school uses real tools and has a magic forest! Everyday had new activies and we were updated with pictures and videos several times a week.If you're looking for great school with a close knit community then Smallfry is for your family.

Ancaster Small Fry is a small school with a big heart. All three of my kids have had the opportunity to attend Small Fry and we are so grateful for it. I love that the school is an educational based facility with a small ratio of children to teacher. The teachers are caring, insightful and wonderfully expose the children to different aspects of learning through sensory, tactile experiences and well-rounded play. Also, the outdoor space is very inviting and the teachers offer an array of outdoor activities for the students to engage in; from planting in the garden to snow sensory in the winter. Another advantage is that they offer long day program with hot lunch, this program really prepares the students for upcoming JK school year. With the onset of the pandemic the school and staff were very thorough about sanitization and COVID-19 protocols in and out of the classroom. When inquiring about preschool all my questions were kindly answered and when I thought of more questions at a later time, they were happy to answer them too! This is our final year at Small Fry and we are going to miss this school a lot!

What a great pre-school! My 2 year old loved this place from day 1. I was impressed with how clean and well organized they keep the classrooms. Mrs. O. is a natural teacher with a lot of experience and creates a well structured and loving environment. My daughter loves Ms. Mitzie who is her teacher until she turns 3. They always have stimulating activities to choose from and we get lots of photos and video updates through the see-saw app. Highly recommend! Note: if you don't have time to volunteer there is an option for non participating parents too.
