The In Home Chef

We hired Thomas and his team for our wedding in July 2022 and we are so glad we made that decision!! Throughout the process of planning, we sent Thomas soo many emails with all our questions and he was quick and happy to respond to all of them. He made our planning feel very smooth and easy. We had a backyard wedding and rented from A&B Party Rentals, and Thomas worked directly with them to ensure we had all the necessary amounts of plates/cups, etc. He also supplied bartenders for our bar and made recommendations for what was necessary to buy in order to keep the bar stocked all night.In terms of the day-of, I could see Thomas and his team in the background working very hard in order to make the catering perfect! Both the presentation and the taste of the food were incredible! And he made sure to adhere to any dietary requests from our guests. Despite Thomas being super busy with many different weddings this summer, he did an excellent job and making ours feel very special and one-of-a-kind. I would highly recommend Thomas and his team for any of your catering needs!!

I had the in home chef cater my wedding this past fall. It was nothing short of amazing in terms of flexibility, level of service as well as the overall kindness of Chef Thomas.I had a small wedding but it was made so special with their services. Britney was the amazing server, she even set out a special tray for me and my husband when we got back from our photos. As well as Chef Josh with the spectacular food accommodating with various vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.Overall I would recommend in home chef to anyone, they truly made things so fantastic on top of everything they made sure it was all very Covid safe.Wonderful catering company!

Summer Staff Party- On August 25, 2022 we had Chef Thomas and his staff cater a corporate summer staff party, we were absolutely blown away by his food. Chef Thomas did a surprise menu, and did not disappoint. 50+ staff all raved about the food, and how amazing it was. Chef Thomas also had the task of preparing 10 vegan meals, and they were also a hit. His staff were professional and kind- always ensuring we had everything we needed. Chef Thomas was highly communicative every step of the way, and no matter how many emails we sent with questions regarding every aspect of providing food and the bar for our big day, he was always quick to respond with the info we were looking for. Chef Thomas invited us to a food tasting where we got to know him and his wife, who were fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. For our wedding in particular, we provided Chef Thomas with a bit of a challenge as we had many guests with dietary restrictions and allergies, to which he completely worked around and developed a fantastic and delicious menu! Some of our guests who have been to many weddings stated this was some of the best food they have ever had from a catering service, and we absolutely agree!Chef Thomas and his staff were incredibly helpful and provided such an excellent degree of communication. We were so thankful to have In Home Chef on board for our wedding, would highly recommend reaching out for your event!

So happy we chose Chef Thomas and his team to cater our in-home Christmas work party. Every bite was delicious, the service was impeccable, kitchen was cleaned and allowed us to enjoy every minute of it! Will definitely choose to do this again!!

Thomas is the complete professional you look for in a caterer. From first meeting him he walked us through the process of setting up the food for our wedding. After a short conversation, Thomas took in our theme, guest numbers, and ideas and quickly provided us with a sample menu, rental items required, and overall budget. Throughout the planning process, Thomas made himself available from his busy schedule to discuss ideas, beverage pairings, and dietary substitutions. Thomas was very accommodating to our vision and went above and beyond by securing a number of tough to find craft beers for our wedding bar.As for the food and service, it was beyond our expectations. Thomas and his staff absolutely nailed it. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was timed to perfectly coincide with our schedule of speeches. The passion Thomas has for his craft is evident in the attention to detail he puts into the ingredients he uses, his creative use of flavours and the way each dish was plated to create a visual experience that looked as good as it tasted. The service staff was attentive and professional, ensuring meals were served and cleared in short order, attending to any guests needs during the service, and providing fast bar service to keep people on the dance floor during the reception.We can’t say enough about how happy we were with Thomas and his staff. The In home chef saved the day fo us with getting on board for our wedding last minute. They have an amazing menu to choose from and the experience with dealing thomas was exceptional.On the day of the wedding his crew showed up and were so professional and polite, the food was outstanding and all the guest were talking about it. So you are probably wondering if this meal will be worth the cost... and it will be! It was one of the highlights of the night and worth every penny. I had to have my arm twisted to agree and 2 minutes into dinner felt foolish for ever doubting it. Chef Thomas was polite and moved in the kitchen and dining room quietly and efficiently. The food came out one course after another and were all so special and great! We could not stop talking about it and the next day people were still raving. He served dessert and slipped out the back door with nothing but ONE pot left in the sink!!! It was like a darn magic show to go with dinner!!! Seriously, not having to worry about anything and sitting down to a first course... it was such an experience and one I promise you will NOT regret! Don't overthink this decision like I did.

Thomas and his crew are outstanding!! They catered our entire summer wedding from the charcuterie board at cocktail hour, dinner and dessert, to the late night snack. Every single guest complimented how awesome the food was!! They were able to do vegan dishes and as a vegan bride, that made our day that much more special! We hosted our wedding on a family farm and the forest ceremony was a ways away from the barn reception, and they brought food back to us while we took photos, so we wouldn't miss cocktail snacks. We can't thank your team enough for the amazing food and service you provided! Hands down the best team and we'll definitely be calling on them again! Thank you!!
