Dr. Oon is incredibly attentive and portrays a high sense of care for his patients. Extremely knowledgeable, doesn't try to force products, would highly recommend. Thank you Dr. Oon for helping me with my autoimmune condition!

My husband spent a fortune on my health issues, but nothing helped.Don't know Dr. Kim, went to Dr. Oon. My review is about Dr. Oon.Came in 3 years ago, told him that my problem is fatigue, and I said “I want to check for heavy metals”. Did some tests, then for half a year I took chelators. It didn’t help. Then Dr. Oon tells me “maybe it’s allergies”. To be honest, I was doubtful about allergies causing fatigue, so I refused. One time he did this thing where he’d put some glass jars on my belly and press on my hand. I thought, he must be testing muscle strength. Years later I looked online: turns out, this is a test to check for allergens...Obscurantism at its finest. A shaman practicing voodoo witchcraft would probably be as effective, and cost way less...By the way, another naturopath with 20 years of experience later told me she would never let me do chelators BEFORE a thorough allergy test. She said, she'd flatly refuse, because if the body is allergic, it can not process toxins properly. Back then, we didn't know, so...We spent more money. This time on a viral panel. They found some virus. Later I’d look online, and would not find any scientifically-backed information about it having causing chronic fatigue. But none the less, Dr. Oon tells me I need a vitamin ‘C’ I.V... When doing IV, my vein in my arm was bruised from the needle, because I had to get it done every once in a while. I told him that “maybe near my hand is a better vein?” I don’t know, I’m not a doctor. When I was 16, I remember a nurse putting an IV somewhere in that area, and everything was fine. He took an IV needle and put it near my hand. It jabbed my nerve. The pain was excruciating. I could not straighten my arm for two weeks. Dr. Oon told me to get some kind of ointment to heal the nerve.Recently I went to do a nerve test at New West hospital. My arm still bothers me a little. When I went to see my family doctor (not D. Oon), he told me that no, despite what Dr. Oon recommended back then, no ointment would have helped, because no ointment is able to penetrate that deep to heal a nerve.Dr. Oon saw that his treatments did not work, then resorted to ‘shrinking’. I wasn’t interested in psychological advices. And to this day, I still am not interested, especially when these advices come from an unlicensed person and are not asked for. I remember he kept going on and on. In my opinion, no one has the right to advice things to another person, because no one ever will be in anyone’s place. But anyway, I knew that his personal advices have no place in my own life. I spend most of the years of my life on a computer, typing and doing some photoshop work. My eyesight isn’t the best. Yet, he says “you know, eyesight problems are always due to anger issues”. I tell him no, literally, “every single day, I type, type, and type. My eyes are glued to a screen”. I don’t remember what the response was, but after his presumptuous statement, he went on about how stress causes problems. My birth country is at risk of invasion. Some of my politically active friends are being put in jail. Also, I see the injustice that is being done in East Turkistan, where the Chinese leaders put my people in concentration camps. I didn’t tell him that, but I did mention that I have a whole bunch of elderly relatives that I somehow need to take care of, and I don’t have the money nor the energy, in order to do so. And frankly, I don’t want to hear any more of his Zen preaching and advices. In my experience, Dr. Oon is nice, but at the same time is an insensitive person who does not 'read the room', who keeps pushing it.And then I realized: I can afford to sit and listen to a wet-behind-the-ear, who comes from one of the well-off countries (Singapore) in the world, had a secure life, the means and money to go study medicine, never had to struggle in life (look at his delicate hands), and yet is acting like he KNOWS it all. When my husband wrote to him, pointing out the last issue, Dr. Oon took on a defensive mode. We never set foot in that clinic again.

I came to see Dr. Kim a number of years ago after trying a number of other therapies for excruciating pain in my wrists. I was almost unable to perform the most simple tasks. Within a month of prolotherapy (sp?) I was good as new; able to work and function better than before. I return to see Dr. Kim often as his approach/philosophies to life have allowed me to focus and re-focus on the aspects of life that improve not only the day to day but my general ability to attain balance and happiness. Thanks Dr. Kim :)
