We came to SIP Wine Bar for dinner on recommendation of some of us who have had a good time here before; and, this time, we all had a great experience as well.We ordered an assortment of cocktails and dishes - most of which we shared, along with a couple bottles of wine, and everything was enjoyable.We had SIP Bruschetta, Frittura Mista, Burratina di Bufala, Amalfi Pizza, Calzone, Agnolotti, Risotto alla Pescatora, Tartufo Classico, Panna Cotta and Tortino al Cioccolatto.The staff was super nice and the service was very good.

Sipwine is my home away from home. The food is always delicious. The staff are so friendly and kind. You can have a private party downstairs which is so lovely. It's so important to help small businesses and especially ones where prices, atmosphere and customer service and quality are top priority.

The food was good.But the manager and waiter were horrible.We went here with 4 other families for a celebration. We ate and when eating dessert our kids started to get uncomfortable and were playing around.The manager started yelling us, to have our kids sit down and be quite; that it was a restaurant not our house.After that we were paying and then got yelled by the waiter for not tipping, why would I tip if I got yelled at?He argued 3 more times that I didn’t tip him. (Yelling at me, that it wasn’t his fault the manager yelled at us before)I understand our kids weren’t little puppets sitting down, but there’s ways to say things nicely. Not like they did, yelling at us.When we were walking out the manager was muffling things and arguing saying we were disrespectful.Disrespectful is saying things to someone else’s kid. Disrespectful is yelling at your customers for not tipping. Disrespectful is telling your customers you’ve already been there for over and hour and a half.Our table alone paid +$600. But I guess if you’re looking for a place to dine and leave, and of course not tag along your children! This is your place!

Talk about a gem! Our service from Raymundo was the best I've had in a very long time. Wine was perfect, and their pizza! Omg so delicious. Everything fresh.

This Italian restaurant is the only place I know near Yonge-Eglinton that serves real Napolitan food.Pizzas are delicious. They use quality ingredients for their food and it changes everything. The Italiana with tomato base is amazing and I would recommend this for any real pizza lover.The white chocolate cheesecake is also something you definitely have to try if you want to finish on a good note.Pasta and risotto are also really good, and you will get a great portion.

My friends and I, as well as our lively brood of youngsters, decided to venture out for dinner one evening at what we thought would be a delightful family-friendly restaurant. But the experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare.The atmosphere at our table was slightly louder than others, and yes, a bit chaotic - the chatter of little voices and peals of giggles could be heard every now and then. To us, it was the typical cacophony of children just being children.But what occurred next left us all feeling appalled and upset.The restaurant's owner, whose brows were visibly furrowed at our children’s cheerful chatter, approached our table. He started by saying that he found our table to be disruptive, the kids too loud. As if this wasn't a blow enough, he went on to criticize us, stating that we were being 'disrespectful' and not having 'our kids in control'.His words were not a polite request to lower the volume, but an outright admonishment, delivered in an intimidating tone loud enough for neighbouring tables to hear. It was deeply uncomfortable, not just for us, but for our children too, who looked back at us with wide-eyed confusion.The owner's approach was unnecessary and unprofessional. As parents, we understand that not everyone is fond of the typical energy children bring, but the way this issue was addressed was absolutely not acceptable.This restaurant turned out to be a poor choice for our group. The owner's lack of empathy, understanding, and customer service skills leaves me no choice but to rate it poorly.Family dinners are meant to be full of joy, chatter and laughter. A restaurant should not just be about serving food, it should be about creating an experience, one where customers feel comfortable and welcome. Regrettably, this establishment missed the mark entirely.Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially to families with young children. It's a shame that the owner’s lack of grace and understanding spoiled what could have been a lovely evening.

My first visit to sip Wine bar was very positive we were having a birthday party for a family member. Everything went well. The food was good. The waitress was very attentive. The second visit I had not so positive I booked a reservation online when we got to the restaurant the maître d’ had no record of the reservation after a few minutes of confusion, we finally got our table. We proceeded to order our dinner, which were too different meals, and we ended up with the same food order. The waiter had placed the wrong order to the kitchen. there was dirty dishes and glasses left on the table for long periods of time with very little room left to maneuver. giving it one more chance the third visit was as bad or worse waited 10 minutes at the front to be seated for no apparent reason finally were seated and waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come and take our drink orders. From there a service just went downhill. won’t be back at sip Wine bar anytime soon
