Idlewild Park
What a gorgeous and well taken care of park! My kids and I loved our visit. We got there early and were the only ones there, along with the deer that were walking through. We enjoyed the playground, the awesome ziplines, and then we took a walk around the lake. So cool to have an outdoor classroom there as well.

Absolutely stunning park! I hold such fond memories of visiting this park every summer with my grandmother. It was lovely to see all the beautiful upgrades and the artwork! Keep it up Cranbrook.

Idlewild Park
Very relaxing, scenic and full of wildlife...saw seven mallards in full bright uniform nibbling up the algae and three deer hanging out at the waterfall. Sturdy docks to walk out on and friendly people greeting you...always enjoy this stroll!

This is a very wildlife area, with lots of wildlife views, mostly aquatic life but other birds as well. Trails are easy walking with great photo opportunities.

This park is absolutely incredible! On your first steps in, you will feel and smell the beauty of nature. You are then offered the opportunity to trail around the lake as you hear the not-so-distant sounds of the ducks enjoying the water. You then have the opportunity to view and cross a small dam before finding yourself at the edge of a small forest, surrounded by the relaxing smell of the nearby pine trees.No reasons not to visit this place; there are free parking lots until 10pm on both sides of the park!

Great place for a 1km loop walk to stretch your legs. Various birds, osprey nesting platform. Bat houses, art. If your see a log look for the painted turtles that live around there.

My grandson had so much fun. The play structure has somsny different slides and ways to climb up. The zip line is a big hit with all the kids. Only negative was the icy ground. But its winter so it's expected.

Disc golf course is perfect for beginners or for brushing up on your short game. A great time.
