Five Islands Lighthouse Park - Municipality of Colchester | Colchester County is located in north central Nova Scotia. This area was originally known as Cobequid until 1780 when it was named after the town of Colchester, England. Colchester was part of Halifax County until 1835. The town of Truro (population 12,500) is the county seat.

Great place. The lighthouse is not so big (that's what she said) but interesting. You can find a lot of space for a picnic and playing with kids. Free parking available, washroom available but may be closed permanently so keep all necessary stuff with you. Nice location for a family weekend

Cute little lighthouse, nice park with super green grass. Playground and flag pole nearby and two big red chair. Fantastic view. Recommended.

Five Islands Lighthouse
Great park for a walk at the beach, for the kids to play at the very well structured vessel, and even for cooking at the shelter. It has a good sized parking lot and decent washrooms. It is very well maintained and a beautiful view of the Five Islands. On low tide you could walk to some of the islands but, be careful as the tide comes back quite fast.

If you are from the west like me and simply want your picture with a lighthouse, this is the place! Adorable lighthouse, not too much traffic, playground, paths, beach, and a view of 5 islands and the red cliffs!

Great spot to take the kids. There is a hugh boat themed playground. It has a covered eating area. Picnic tables around the area as well as hammocks. Plus you get a great view of the 5 islands in the bay.

Such a beautiful place to enjoy the quiet time. There is a separate play area for kids. Washrooms are there.

Five Islands Lighthouse
A cozy place with really excellent view of small islands and cliffs. Like part of heaven! So beautiful and peaceful. Also there is a small lighthouse and couple of tables for picnics. The access road is not asphalted but it worth to go snd watch the beauty of the cliffs and beach.
