Very attentive service. Food was good. I ordered the Waldorf salad, the Spicy Prawn (tempura) and Chirashi. The spicy prawn tempura was not what I was expecting but tasty nonetheless. The most memorable part of the Chirashi was those red prawns - might be Argentinian red prawns & the wild Atlantic salmon.

highly recommend!the food was delicious, the service was great, overall a lovely experience. the wagyu beef tataki and suzuki carpaccio(sea bass) were out of this world! definitely a little pricier, but you can tell the dishes are worth the price! they also had a really cool wheelie old timey library ladder for their great saki collection! lovely decor as well! our server was great and had really nice earrings!

4.5. The first time we were there we had beef takaki, sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura and yakitori skewers, everything was delicious, good quality ingredients. I really liked the fried Cajun rolls. Overall experience was over expectation. We then went for Sukiyaki hot pot. It was fun experience, ordered both striploin and ribeye, enough for two people. I would recommend to go with ribeye. For dipping sauce, I would suggest to ask for a raw egg for each person. Sukiyaki soup was tasty, all the veggies and meat got good flavor from it. Also tried some other dishes, spicy prawns, braised fish head (Madai Kama), they were good. Environment and service were very nice.

Food was delicious 10/10, loved the sukiyaki ribeye and the sushi rolls we ordered, but our first impression of the service wasn't up to our expectations. It was our first time trying this dish, as our waiter set down the things for the sukiyaki ribeye didn't care to mention the dish. (it looked like there was no broth and we were poking at it until another waiter told us by convivence to let it sit and boil )Also one of the sides (rice) wasn't even filled up it was 2/3 full I thought for a $68 meal they could have at least fill it up.As we were eating the sukiyaki ribeye, it was delicious and had that melting feeling in your mouth. We ordered the sushi when we got the appetizers, finished it, and half way into our main course still haven't received it. The waiter came out of convivence I reminded her of our order and she said ill check on it, waited probably another 10 minutes so it sounded like she just put it in the order. We just felt neglected during our dinner while they were serving other people. its kind of too bad that I want to come back here for the food but not the service.**UPDATE***Her name was Judith (on receipt)

It is an okayish place. Food is good, but overpriced. I couldn't feel welcomed here. I felt like they wanted to put the food in front of you, and you left as quickly as possible.

Sukiyaki House's food has been consistent in both my dine in and take out experiences. Their fish is fresh tasting and their rolls are wrapped with care.On this occasion, the highlights we had were:- Tako carpaccio (this was excellent; the octopus was thinly sliced, tender & not chewy, and the yuzu flavor was a welcomed touch).- Spider roll (the crab flavor was strong and was lightly crunchy)- House special temaki (this cone was not too heavy on the rice and had a nice mix of salmon, tuna, and shrimp)- Shake skin roll (the salmon skin was mildly crispy, not very oily, and had a smooth salmon flavor come through with each bite)The couple of things to keep in mind when eating here:- When getting take out or delivery, the seaweed in the rolls tended to be soggy and chewy. It would probably be crispy if dining in. Similarly, some of the food components that are supposed to be crispy began to get a bit soggy.- The price point is higher than other sushi places, working out to be about $50 a person.
