We called the after hours emergency line regarding a homeless cat. The girl came and did her best trying to catch the cat. I really appreciate her effort and we were actually not in her region. They are true animal lovers and I hope we can catch the cat next time and get him the help he needs.

What a first great experience visiting. The staff there are friendly and informative. My small group was welcomed at the front and were brought in to visit the cats, mouse, and bunny in residence.

Just brought our furry new family member home and was very happy to get her from this location. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Adopt don't shop!

The staff are both knowledgeable and caring. The organization has done it's best to make the best possible home for the animals. I took my girl group for a tour here and the educators Allison and Sarah we're very accommodating and understanding. They knew the concerns and questions of the youth and are great advocates for animals.

I was down to only one guinea pig and started looking for more. Learned my lesson last time to not go to the petstore and get males. Looked online and in surrey they had 3 very cute female guinea pigs that were listed at 5 years old and i was like, who surrenders 5 year old guinea pigs? So I called and told them I was going to come in and look at them but definitely wasn't picking them up today since I wasn't set up for it. They corrected me that they were more like 5 MONTHS old, that the years listing was an accident.I of course fell in love with them immediately and they were (gently) urging me to take them that day. They'd apparently been there too long and they were considering moving them to another location. They were excited at the prospect of someone who knows how to take care of them interested in taking all three. I did after they offered to help me get set up, lent me gating and a carrier (which I SWEAR I'm returning this weekend), a couple towels and even plenty of hay for a few days. Took them home and began the gradual process of fully setting up their new home.On the way out the door they suggested I leave a review online if I was so inclined, so I am. They are now Honey Bear, Domino, and Peanut Butter.

Solid 5 stars,I'd give them 6 if I could. Amazing staff who really care so very much for all the animals. Volunteers awesome too! In the process of renovating the cat room to include a small patio when the weather gets nicer. They don't have dogs however ( they are at SARC ) a few minutes away. The also have farm animals which you can only see by prior appointment. They have kids birthday parties, and summer camps too!

My kids had a summer camp there. They came home with great stories and smiles every day. The councillors were all very knowledgeable, kind and very patient. Thank you.

The SPCA came up in the news recently about neglected Pandemic dogs. An SPCA member is quoted as saying,“We definitely don't want anyone to feel like they can't reach out to us. We want people to call us if animals are in distress, or if they're feeling overwhelmed,” says Chortyk.I brought 2 neglected and abandoned dogs to the Surrey SPCA about 5 years ago. They weren't my dogs but I didn't want them to suffer. It floored me at how absolutely horrible I was treated when I asked for help. As if I were the one who abused the dogs. I was scolded one had to be euthanized and the other needed extensive dental work. I was *FORCED* and pressured to pay something like $160 to leave those dogs there. It's been 5 years and I'm constantly reminded how horrible the SPCA is whenever I see news articles about them pleading with people to reach out for help."
