Williston Lake Resort

The location, the view and the staff are amazing. Stayed here 2009, 2010, and now in 2018. The food is so good. Nothing better than sitting on the patio with a drink enjoying the spring air. They ask you when you want dinner and they always make amazing food. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable.

The view is spectacular, food is fantastic. Very quiet, not not much traffic.The view includes horses grazing below the patio area, the lake is stunning. The menu is small, but all choices are cooked to perfection. We haven't stayed the night yet, but that is next on the list.

Overall a lovely stay - beautiful building in a nice setting, tasty food, helpful staff. We had 2 issues, which other reviewers have also raised - first, there are no keys for the rooms, which is awkward; and second, our dog was attacked by the resident huskies, who were off-leash. Luckily uninjured but the lodge is not dog friendly"."

This resort has the absolute loveliest people. They put together a wedding including stays for multiple family members in 8 days during a pandemic. The food was lovely, we ate there for every meal and the wedding feast was amazing!

Staying for work. Staff very friendly and treats you like family. Food is second to none. Very high quality. Well stocked bar and a view that is amazing. Highly recommend this facility for a great experience.

We had a wonderful dinner here.We were greeted warmly and given a drink by the fireside while we waited briefly for a table (they were setting up a high chair).To start we ordered the Spicy Mango Soup and the Pumpkin Curry Soup, both were delicious (we ordered two extra bowls to take home, which they easily provided us with when we left).We both ordered the Beef Tenderloin grilled on creamy cognac sauce with mushrooms and vegetables. Both dishes were cooked perfectly, the vegetables were crisp and the potatoes with rosemary were very good. We also ordered a side of tiger prawns, which were in a lovely spice and had great flavour.We ordered a Venice Dream - Shortcake soaked with coffe & Amaretto topped with cream cheese and whipping cream topping and a House Coffee - Kahlua, Baileys & Orange Brandy with coffee and topped with whipping cream to share, both were decadent and delicious.The staff were very prompt, we never needed to ask for anything with our meal and they were very friendly and kind with our small son, which we appreciated as we do not get out for dinner often and always worry if he will make it through the dinner without getting fussy.Thank you for a lovely evening and we look forward to dining here again.

Maddie was amazing as was all the other staff. The cook makes a most delicious Hungarian chicken And other German food.. A must try.The room was rustic just what we wanted would definitely go back

Cozy lodge right next to Williston reservoir. Owners who live upstairs are very nice and friendly. Overall rooms were spacious and clean, they have a tv and mini fridge in the room. Remember to bring indoor slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste as it is not provided. In the lodge you are to expected to take off shoes at the main entrance and the rooms are not locked. Wifi is available but bandwidth and speeds are limited. If you are visiting the area or WAC bennet Dam this lodge is an excellent place to stay. Continental cereal and bread for breakfast is included. The food is cooked by the owners and we're absolutely delicious, they even offer packed lunch.

We stayed at this beautiful cabin-style lodge and enjoyed it so much! All the staff are very friendly, helpful en considerate. The lodge is cosy and one immediately feels at home and relaxed. The view from the lodge is beautiful and peaceful. We had delicious meals at their restaurant! We can absolutely recommend the resort!
