About 6-7 years ago was searching for a roof rack for my Toyota Matrix and came across RackTrip. I must confess that the main decision point originally was the pricing – it was about half of what seemed like similar products (and services) from other places – big brands and not. As the time showed, with RackTrip we have found a true gem! The products are indeed of the great quality but what really sets RackTrip apart is Paul and the amazing service he provides. The original installation took place in late November and despite quite low temperature went flawlessly. Since then we have been using the rack quite intensively (large cargo box for our camping trips when it’s warm and skies for the winter time). A few months ago I found out that due to what I consider an appropriate tear and wear for such a gear it required some attention. Without even looking for other places I went to Paul to ask for advice. Paul checked the condition of the rack, without any questions replaced some parts and didn’t charge me a dime (even though he spent about an hour on it and, as I mentioned, replaced some parts).Paul is a very kind, friendly individual and all interactions with him are extremely positive. As a professional, Paul is very knowledgeable, takes time to explain what he is planning to do and why and goes whatever the distance to make sure his clients are happy.Without any doubt I would recommend Paul and RackTrip to anyone.

Bought my cargo box from Paul earlier this year. The unit is very sturdy, looks sleek, and is almost half the price of well known brands. I already drove across the country for relocation and the box still looks like new. Paul was very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process and allowed me to test one of his older units. I read overwhelming positive reviews so I took the leap and sent an email and got a quick response from Paul.Paul is very polite and professional advising what I needed and will back up his product that he sells. He was very thorough in the installation making sure the installation was done properly. Best of all, the cost was a fraction of the other big name brands such as Thule or Yakima.A year later I was having some difficulties reinstalling the roof rack and contact Paul. Good quality, price and customer service. I was in need of a cargo roof box but wanted a matching white one to go with our Jeep Patriot. The premium large 20 C.U. was perfect for our needs. The other brands only had black or grey but fortunately RackTrip sold white ones.Paul was great to do business with and was nice enough to make a same day appointment on a Sunday after realizing they only open from Mon-Sat. That’s super customer service right there. The cargo box can also be installed for extra but well worth it as he knows what to do and able to make any modifications as needed.Couldn’t be happier with how smoothly everything went. I was looking for a roof rack and kayak carrier. Mazda quoted over $1000…Paul was the best viable option. Very knowledgeable and helpful to give the best insights to gage the right roof rack combo for my bare roof Mazda CX5 GS (2020) with a cost effective J-style kayak carrier.Don’t stick to foam and risk roof damage. Nor with Amazon’s rusty solutions. My first choice would have been Thule but Paul’s was the most cost effective (1/2 the cost) with similar heavy duty construction.He’s been around for 7yrs and all the other reviewers also attest to the best bang for your buck!
