BCLIQUOR Tofino

Wow what a remarkable store! The Manager and his team are amazing and have amassed a truly diverse selection of liquors and good quality wines in such a small space. Hats off to the Regional Manager who doesn't get in the way of a sales operation catering to the very diverse mix of people who live or pass through Tofino.To the comments lower down about the limited range of beers (primarily due to the small size of the store), it was great to see that they felt the same way about the management. The two questions for me are, could BC Liquors make the financial case for a larger store and/or (and I believe this is legal in BC) why aren't the grocery stores carrying more varieties of beer?Irrespective of these questions, this store is massively better than it was when I first came to Tofino 5-10 years ago and well recommended (I found things in there I couldn't even find in a number of liquor stores on the mainland).

The was stocked okay. Some things were out of stock that I was looking for. The staff were super unfriendly and didn't offer any help even even asked. It was very crowed inside as well. There was only one till that could be open due to a group buying a large amount of bottles. This would have been fine if they were moving quickly. However the customer kept bringing over single bottles and the employee wasn't ringing them threw it was annoying considering how busy it was.

Even though the BC strike is causing a shortage limiting choices, the staff were so nice and helpful going into the back to check for myself and my friend. Really appreciate their help and hospitality! Thank you BCL Tofino staff!

Friendly place clean and they are helpful

Got some local brews at the liquor store. Lagers, pilsners, IPAs, and sours. Lots of beer selection. Very convenient location. Nice staff. Thanks for all the cold beverages for our hotel fridge!

Got a Tofino Double IPA 4-pack at this liquor store. They only had a small beer selection in refrigerators, and no single cans/bottles at all. This could definitely be improved!

Steven was the best! I walked in looking uncertain about what I wanted... He saw that and jumped in with a huge wealth of knowledge and great suggestions based on my likes. 100% would recommend asking him for a new suggestion if you are up for something different.

One of the smallest wine sections I have experienced in years.The building is simply too small. I feel for the great people who work there.
