Restaurant Pop-O-Bar
Place looks a little run down on the outside and at first I was worried that it was shut down but the inside was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The bartender was nice, the area was quiet, I was SHOCKED at the amazing price for a 20oz of beer, and the nachos, THE NACHOS were absolutely PHENONMENAL. Though it was difficult getting an Uber back to Ottawa because of the less populated area, I'd 100% come back here again. Their drink The Blushing" was so delicious that I was constantly telling my boyfriend how much I think it should be canned up and sold like that. I'd highly recommend going here and I'd definitely suggest getting the cheese nachos."

Limited menu with reasonable specials need better service or hire bus boy to pick up after meals and empty Bottles and glasses. Party atmosphere good

The new owners seem very nice and service driven. They offer insanely low prices. It's still the same old bar, same food, but service quality will most certainly be better. Had a very great time for Tuesday open mic night. Would absolutely go again

For a little dive bar...wow amazing fish. I know it was risky, but you never know. I took the chance and yes, I will be going back! Also, the wings are fantastic! Oh and 0.50 cents on Thursdays! Great deal. Friendly service, slot machines and cool music!

Waited over 20 minutes for a drink (bever got it) . While bar tender was talking up a storm. Raised my voice to get their attention. The bouncer that was there ask me to leave. I left and unfortunately I do not recommend this place and I will not go there anymore. Best of luck yo the new owners .

Worst customer service experience I've ever encountered in any and all service industries. The fact that they blatantly stole my money by purposely overcharging the bill is not only immoral but a crime and a travesty. I ordered a double vodka redbull and two smirnofs and they charged $60 as seen in the photo. After showing them they were mistaken was told they need to charge it that way because of their system. If you look further they charged for two cans of redbull and also charged for 3shots. Remember it was a double not a quintupple and after giving me attitude for their thievery they had the audacity to ignore me and walk away when I tried to order drinks for my friends. Point of the story is check your receipts as they have no problem stealing your money and justifying it when caught. Extremely sad to cheat sober customers if I was intoxicated it might've been double. #Stay away from woman at the bar

This is one of the rare bars that offer karaoke, dance and food all at the same time. Older clientele, definitely 40+ and more. It has a dozen parkings in its lot out front and ample free street parkings around.While it’s not the most classy bar around, it’s descend, with its own regular clienteleThe service may not always be fast due to lack of staff but they try hard when it’s needed.Karaoke is tended by their own waitress and she runs it chronologically ….. not by appearances. So those arrive early and submits more requests; gets more singing.They also have a few waitresses that are great singers and they go up and sing as well.Every day of week they would have food and drink specials …. So do look it up. They are pretty good. $6.95/ plat on Wednesday. And $9.95 on Thursday. Beer buckets and ladies night too.Each night has a theme and occasional they have duo band or Chansonier, very versatile.

This is one of the best dance bars in Gatineau/Ottawa.Great atmosphere!
