We had Bob and his son inspect our home before purchasing back in May. We moved into the home in August and noticed that we had water damage on 5 of our windows and a leak in the basement. I explained the situation to Bob and asked why his equipment didn't pick up any moisture when inspecting the house. He came back and blames it on the weather.. its been this crazy rain, coming down sideways he says.Clearly they could not do their job and now we are stuck with all these costs.Thank you Bob Price

Unless you get Mike Holmes from the TV. Home inspectors are all the same. A quick assessment of a house, mostly eye balling everything. If they happen to see an issue they will put it into the report.I recall he doesn't climb on roofs,not sure why,it was a full ranch. The son didn't really do too much,just using some camera,I don't even think it was a thermal camera.Then you get a dvd of the pictures he takes and a general report on the inspection....nothing really specific, just as ,I said a quick eye balling of the house.I say if the current home owner objects to a home inspection l,then don't buy the house because there are probably problems.Save you're money on the inspection,and try to find a few friends or family members who know a little about houses. You will all probably be alot more thorough than the rushed home inspection,and use the saved money to buy them dinner.Ask anyone who has had an issue after a home inspection,the inspectors blame others,or say it.was not present at time of inspection..if they were held accountable,than there would be many fewer inspectors.A couple hundred bucks for a picture DVD,a vague report...and a Bob Price Home Inspection,pen.I think you have me confused with someone else Bob...this was my first and only review of your services. I gave you 3 stars,not 1 star as your other friend did. Don't be so paranoid and threatening, and take the criticism of your services. I did use your out of your own house business a few years ago and have accurately described my experience.Good news,the free pen in my junk drawer still works.

When I was looking for my first home I had contacted Bob to do a home inspection and he was amazing at every home we went to. He is reasonably priced and is very knowledgeable. He taught me what to look for when going into a new home and he also made sure to schedule when we were both free so we can walkthrough together. Best home inspector I've ever used had.
