New hospital is clean, and not depressing like some of the other hospitals, somewhat confusing if you don't know where you are going. I think they are still understaffed but that seems to be the norm at hospitals in the province. Disappointing that they do not have a scent free policy though as it would make it a safer environment for those of us with allergies, asthma, environmental sensitivities etc.

The kidney care unit has highly qualified and compassionate staff. I can't thank enough the nurses, doctors and other professionals for the outstanding care they provide for my mother. I am extremely grateful to have access to their knowledge and professionalism. I think old comments should be removed as the hospital site has changed over the past few years.

The worst hospital I've ever been to.Once I arrived to the ER and sat down to talk to the secretary after handing her my ohip card, she asked me what's wrong. So I start explaining my symptoms to her and showing her where the pain is located she looked so uninterested in helping me as if it's nothing serious. She then asks me if I was on any medication I said my family doctor prescribed me with a medication that had me in cold sweats so I stopped taking them. She then rolled her eyes and said you were to keep taking them. Then she even picked up the prescription bottle I brought and pointed it out where it says TAKE 1 TABLET DAILY" she really pointed each word out slowly like I was in kindergarten. Do you not know if you receive certain side affects it says to stop taking the medication?! Then she asked me to go sit and then I was called to receive the bracelet and sent off to follow the blue line to where the other waiting room was.I was called about 30 mins later to sit in one of the rooms where I assumed the doctor would arrive shortly. I sat in the room waiting for 40 mins for the nurse to arrive. There are only like 3 nurses working the patients in the small waiting room there. While there's 5 nurses on the computer I guess punching in data. But back to when the nurse came

Terrible. I was admitted in 2013 after a car accident and while the wait time wasnt bad, comparably, the service was awful. They spelled my name wrong on the bracelet on registration. I received a bed while waiting for the doctor. When the doc checked me out he wasn't very communicative. We had to ask pointed questions about what was happening with me. Moments later, I had to use the washroom. Upon my return, the door to my room was closed and they already had a different patient in my bed! They said I could just sit (I was still unsteady on my feet, let alone sitting.) mind you, I got seen rather quickly so it couldn't have been that crowded... Next they took me to a tiny room to get stitches done. I question the sanitation of the bandages they used since I ended up getting a rash that lasted 3 weeks from that. The doctor discharged me after reviewing a rushed xray of my shoulder after I told him I couldn't lift my arm. nothing broken

***BEWARE*** This hospital is completely incompetent from the doctors to nurses to administrative staff. My loved one spent 7 weeks in this hospital and received little treatment. Docs think they're doing you a favor by simply showing up and talking to you for less than 5 mins then they're MIA. Nurses don't have a clue and ask you what's going with the patient instead of reading docs notes. Asking them to read notes or page a doc is like you asked for $10K Apple Watch. Facility is filthy and smelly. No point in making a complaint - admin defends the horrible treatment of this hospital. Newer hospital won't be an improvement with the same incompetent staff. ONLY TAKE ENEMIES HERE for medical care.

How ia this hospital rated 3 stars when its one of of the best hospitals I have ever stepped in. It's sad that yoy guys give it such a low star. From the moment I stepped in they helped me with all my needs untill the moment Ieft. Can't recommend a better hospital.

I had the most unpleasant and unprofessional experience at the Bariatric Unit of this hospital. I attended for my appointment on time only to have to wait over 2 hours and then I left. 1st I was told that Dr. Kline had an emergency surgery (not a good sign when you are a bariatric doctor!) then when people who registered after me started being called in before me I was told that this doctor takes patients in order of the time of their appointment. So it doesn't matter if you are 2 hours late because you will go in before those people who attend on time, really!! Then people who told me their appointments were scheduled after mine started getting called in that's when I left.I find this Doctor and the staff at this clinic/hospital to be the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met and I have met a lot of doctors and professionals. So, if you are thinking of going there BE AWARE if a bariatric doctor has an emergency it means they have made a mistake! in my opinion

I have never been treated worse in my life. I came in after diving over the handlebars of my bike and fracturing my left thumb and right elbow. As I waited for an x-ray a woman walked in and gave me inductions on where to go. I explained I couldn't lift my backpack to the other room. She rudely replied well we aren't liable for that." I ended up sobbing in the x-ray room as I was alone there and my family was 5 hours away

my husband and i went for our covid tests yesterday and everyone at this clinic was professional and efficient. Kathleen was our nurse and she could not have been more helpful - she has done hundreds if not thousands of tests, but treated us like her first. Fast and efficient, we were very happy we went to Humber River.

Hospital very dirty. Paper on floor over two days in patient room. Some of the nursing staff should not be in this field as they are so rude and crude in their manners. If you need help, hope and trust a good nurse is on duty or you will wait for up to an hour or more before one attend to you. Please nurses, remember that patients are sick, scared, hopeless at times; a little kindness or good humor goes a long way. You may get sick someday and what you sow, you will surely reap!
