Bell Falls Family Campground

This place is very beautiful, they care about their campers and will go above and beyond. The Bell Falls are gorgeous and the sound at night is soothing and relaxing. Roberta, Wes and Dennis are amazing, friendly, courteous and funny. If you want to have a relaxing vacation, then this is the campground for you. I wish that I could give this more than five stars, but this is the best that I can do. Thank you Bell Falls Family Campground for an amazing weekend, we will definitely be back.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I have been at this campground on and off as seasonal campers for the last 12 years. We returned last year with a bigger trailer and without the kids (they have their own lives now!). The new owners have been there a few years now and are fabulous people. They show alot of care to the grounds and are very helpful. They have on site enclosed pool area which is really safe especially with all these children in the park. The Falls area is picturesque and a must see for travellers just wanted to stay a night or two or a week/month! Recommend this wonderful park. Ben & Anna.

We took our trailer and our two small kids (age 1 and 3) up to Bell Falls campground last weekend on a whim for Christmas in July not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very family-friendly campground. The owners are fantastic, making time to talk with everyone even though they have a million and one things to do! They were very helpful and accommodating, offering to help back trailers into sites and set up tents should you need an extra hand.Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. I actually felt like a kid again playing with our kids there. People really got into the Christmas Spirit" with a lovely community turkey dinner and even a visit from a vacationing St. Nick for the kids!The pool area and washrooms were very clean and well-kept. There was no garbage anywhere. Campsites have been looked after. You can see the owners as well as campers take pride in their campground. Most things are available at the front office for convenience. However

We are new seasonal campers in our first trailer. We came from 25 years of boating on Georgian Bay. The campground is very neat and tidy. The rules are strictly enforced (5km/hr speeds, no marijuana smoke, quiet times, pets on leashes at all times and ample pet waste bins and waste bags throughout the park). The washrooms and showers are clean.Wes and his family are very attentive hosts and are always around the park to help answer questions, solve problems, deliver firewood, tidy up and to make sure that you are having a great time. There is overflow parking on-site for guests and the fees are nominal. The playground and grounds are all kid-friendly and safe. The pool is being re-fitted with a new liner this year but a visit to the falls is a great way to cool off and get wet. Georgian Bay swimming is only a couple minutes up Hwy 12 at Waubaushene beach. Hiking and biking trails are nearby and cycling enthusiasts seem to be frequent transient campers at the park. There are a few fully equipped campers to rent and the hideaway is a new feature. See their website for details. It is surprising how many guests live locally and call Bell Falls their summer cottage (myself included). There are events planned for the kids such as Christmas in July, Halloween, family fun days, pot luck dinners, scavenger hunts, outdoor movie nights and music. There are a great mix of sunny and shady sites nestled in and around the forest and Sturgeon river. I give this park five stars for its small size, cleanliness, safety and enforced rules, and most importantly for its attentive owners who live onsite.

We just spent the weekend at Bell Falls Family Campground. Wes and Roberta and their team have been incredible hosts! This is a small, quaint campground that you can feel the ‘family’ connection throughout. I would recommend this campground for anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing family getaway. We stayed at the Bell Falls family campground during the August long weekend - and even though because of the rain we had to cut our trip one day short, it was such a wonderful experience!We booked the glamping pod, and had one tent pitched on the site, and WOW it was fantastic! The sound of the waterfall nearby was extremely soothing, and the glamping pod felt so cozy! Very well kept grounds - clean washrooms and showers.Everyone was so friendly, and we felt very comfortable spending a couple of nights here.Thank you to the Bell Falls family, who are extremely friendly, respectful and helpful! - we will definitely be back!

Perfect for cyclists. Right off the Simcoe Loop Trail. Wes is super friendly and accommodating! Our site was overlooking the falls and the soothing sound of water is great. Enjoyed our stay.

Spent a night in the glamping pod, the little oasis with your own private view of the falls. The perfect location to getaway and disconnect. The owners and staff are absolutely amazing, very friendly & tentative. Highly recommend!
