This is a money grab people, stop paying it. The sport is dying due to lack of snow and the prices remain the same. Ripped off is an understatement. Getting threatened on trails by groomer in Wasaga Beach more than once (caught on GoPro camera) was the tipping point for me. DO NOT buy their passes! Should be $75 pass across the board for the gamble as to whether there will be a season, or not. The only way the OFSC will respond is if you DO NOT pay!

Spent time snowmobiling in Quebec and Northern Michigan this year, on the advice of a couple of friends and WOW, the trails were very best I’ve been on and the gas stations and local small businesses/ restaurants/ shops, carry a wide range of snowmobile parts from all 4 major brands including OEM parts and snowmobile clothing. Oh and by the way the trail passes are cheaper. Sorry Ontario (ofsc) I’ve been snowmobiling in Ontario for 40 plus years and yes we have people that don’t respect the rules and go off trail and that’s 100% wrong and must stop, that being said I’ve also noticed in some districts where they still get plenty of snow and cold, although it’s been later starting do to global warming, opportunities to groom on a cold evening are not being done, again not all areas. Overall OFSC trails are no match to Quebec’s or Michigan’s for the amount we pay. No trail pass in Ontario next season, can buy a Quebec and Michigan pass for almost same price of 1 OFSC pass.

From the landowners, volunteers, organizations, Thank you for making this sport so fun. All the hard work and dedication put in goes a very long way and makes my winters so enjoyable. Thank you again! Without the OFSC putting in the countless hours we wouldn't have this great trail system.

Mar 2020, Been riding for 40 yrs. Been buying a trail permit every year I can remember. The last two years, I only bought temporary passes due to how expensive it is to sled these days. Add in the fact the grooming gets worse each year, they cancel the smartphone app and make you buy a new one every year and this year they didn't even provide printed maps of the trails, and it may just be time to sell the sleds. Now this year 2021 they have upped the daily rate from $35 to $45 per day with a 2 day consecutive minimum. That is a 28.5% increase in a time when Covid finds many with less money. (wife bought me a permit for xmas this year .. thankfully)One other very annoying thing .. they give a discount for older classic sleds" from 1999 and older. Until ~5 years ago

Very disappointed this year trails only open once or twice in my area, The day they where open trails where not groomed.I do not have a truck to go north. After 30 years of buying a permit I think some kind of credit for next year might make me buy one to help support our local venders .

I think the prices are too high for someone like me that just wants to ride around the area. Can't even buy a one day for when you just want to get out. Especially since most of the trails around me are closed for pretty much the season. Last year we bought 3 full season passes and we only used one on one weekend. Never mind the fact that they sent my pass to the wrong address TWICE and me pay to replace it.Aside from that, this should be more affordable to the casual user and I believe they will make more sales.

To much money for permit(s) when trails never open .Last season the trails in my area (barrie) were groomed maybe once. Open for not even a cpl weeks.Rode trails in burks falls once last season thats it! This season its going to be mid jan before we even get 10cms. Not enough to groom. .Where is all the permit money going if trails never open?Shouldnt we get credit if our aea never opens or is ever groomed?Ive heard others say ofsc is just ignorant. I have to agree when i paid $15 extra for permit tracking and you couldnt even track them was 7 weeks before they came. I talked to ofsc and do have to agree , the girl was not to friendly. What do they think? We are just suckers willing to just dish out big money on permits that dont show up and trails that never open? They had a program last year for a discount if covid shut trails? That was bs. And they sure did want to sell permits early ladt season 2021. Sure grab as much as they can incase covid shut trails im sure. Non profit? Ok so everyone in the office isnt getting paid? All these big ofsc confrences are what? Free? Theres our mobey. We dont get invites to these big ofsc partys for the ones that manage ofsc not supporters ! Ill be damm upset if trails never open here again after buyi g 3 permits!

I received my seasons 2023 trail passes quickly. The problem was that I messed up my two machine specific 2023 passes by accidentally putting the wrong sticker on the wrong machine. Yikes!!I made a quick call and spoke to Trish and she made my whole problem go away and solved it without any fuss.Amazing customer service!!!

if 0 stars was an option it would be clicked. They took my money refused to give me my pass and now are ghosting me with no answers as to why. I have been waiting a month for my pass they answer 1 email a day with little to no useful information. It's been a few days with no contact, no pass and no refund after they said they did. Absolutely the worst organization I have ever dealt with.
