Abbotsford International Airport

Small airport. 5 gates in total. Domestic and international. You’ll walk from your airplane to the airport which was a first for me, I liked it. Easy security check in and staff were friendly. Beautiful specially in the morning. Make sure to shop before passing security as there’s only a airport restaurant after the security. In their defense the food and coffee was delicious. Ordered hot sandwich definitely better than what you’d get in Tim Hortons, felt more like a real dinner food. Lots of parking and lots of parking for the guest pick ups. No stress at all in this airport, from where you get off the taxi walking to your gate is probably 2 min walk lol

Great little airport. We flew in from Calgary and pre-booked a rental car. Very convenient and affordable. Big windows and lovely mountain viewI love that this little airport has a restaurant and lounge inside security for those waiting for flights. Lots of real food (sandwiches, soups, etc.) and all the classic beverage options. I always appreciate travelling and having real food and not just the standard fast food options. Pricing seemed pretty standard, however a bottle of water was almost $5.Security was fast and easy. Not stressful. As soon as the line hit the entrance they opened up more lines and everyone got through very quickly.Several car rental services to choose from. Didn’t look into shuttles or buses but would assume there are some options.Overall this is a great, low-stress and affordable airport to use when flying to and from when visiting the lower mainland.

Nice smaller airport. Weekly parking cost is low. Close to US border. Needs better signage for each gTe. Only one jet-way, my flight loaded with both front & back ramps, short walk in rain to ramp

Nice little airport with some amazingly affordable domestic flight options. It might be inconvenient to reach if you are coming all the way from the Vancouver area. There is only one place to eat, so keep that in mind. The cell phone waiting area is pretty small accordingly. The ascent/descent is very scenic if you are flying out/in.

This is based on only one return flight experience. It completely depends as what you expect from an airport. Abbotsford airport is very small and great for a quick flight with so little fuss, however if your 90min flight to Calgary has a 7 hour delay then that is no fun!I did a bit of research to ensure it was not just circumstances, and a unique situation that we dealt with. And unfortunately it was the airport not having fuel for the jets in the morning and the whole domino effect throughout the day. It was so damn difficult to wait for that long in an airport with almost nothing but a bathroom and a drinking lounge!We were with kids and couldn’t even get drinks. On the way back from Calgary we had to ho through the same thing and the airline mentioned that they couldn’t get fuel in time in Abbotsford again. I would love for airport to comment as the return flight turned to a nightmare of arriving at mid-night instead of 5pm …. That was brutal specially with kids.The airline sent us $10 snack coupons which was quite insulting since we were at the airport from 4:30pm until 11pm .I’m sure Flair air was not very innocent either as they treated everyone with little to no respect. It was very unsettling experience.The 3 stars are for the short security line, the cool water clock and for friendly airport staff!

Be ready to spend $90 to get out of here. The bus doesn't function all day so you'd have to use Uber. Not worth the small difference you save on the flight.

Smaller airport that has a relaxed feel. Parking for the week was $56, seemed very reasonable. Not covered parking but secured. Helpful staff and quick baggage handling. Only one bag belt. Not a lot of food services but you can get what you need.

Small airport but very convenient. There is always parking and $9 for daily parking. The coolest thing in this airport is this water clock.

The flights itself was great.However for an international airport there are some improvements that the airport may want to consider.1. Have at least 4 high-speed EV chargers2. Have a Tim's on the secure side and instead of the cafethey have.3. Expand parking as finding a spot was brutal even in the overflow.
