We always go to Strands , and I ask for Amanda . We get a great wash and cut each and every time we go in . It's a relaxing and enjoyable experience . I highly recommend anyone to go .

My husband went in to get his head and beard shaved. They were quick to get him in without an appointment, Brandy did a great job, just missed a few hairs on top of his head. Still, good value and good job! He would return here.

I have been going to Amanda since 2011, she is by far the best stylist I have ever worked with. The team at Strands is always welcoming and fun, keep it up guys! :)

I got my fist time hair extensions, from Calgary - They lasted in my hair WITHOUT moving for almost 10-11 weeks, if not more. Also, I was traveling in India in June-July heat and humidity and they still didn't move !!! When I got them removed at strands was because they had grown out a lot but still perfectly in place. They were so beautiful!! I went to strands to remove and put them back in and they started moving within ONE WEEK ! I called strands and they were courteous book me cz they fell off in one week and by the time I got in which is 2nd week - I had 5 lose pieces and the extensions were moving all over. Joanne fixed them. But it was a waste because they were moving all over in my hair next week again. They were getting all tangled up with glue. So I called next week again and decided I was going to remove them for a bit as I could handle when one of the extension fell off in my hand at work ! I paid full price for removal and this was probably 3rd or 4th week. They didn't have courtesy to admit the shortcoming and cover the removal if not the whole installation and hair extensions are expensive. I wouldn't have put this review up if I did not know how long the extensions are supposed to stay or if I dint get them before. DO NOT GO FOR HAIR EXTENSIONS HERE, they are inexperienced and not very customer service oriented.

If I could rate it zero stars it would be more accurate. I spent 6 plus hours here just to get my hair bleached and toned, which wasn't even what I asked for. The young girl burnt my hair, and my scalp. Then they blamed my hair, as if I've never had my hair done before. Finally the owner stepped in to cut my hair like I asked. But made sure she guilt tripped me into a bunch of product to save my burnt hair, caused by them. Then she still charged me $300 plus the product. Now my hair is falling out in chucks and will have to be chopped off.

AMAZING salon. Management is excellent and the stylists so very personable and talented. I’m going to let you in on their best kept secret.......one word....”Bev”. Book in with her and you won’t be disappointed:)
