It started out a bit rocky. I came in out of pouring rain to see if there was room for my family. I was told we could be seated once the whole party arrived. ( The place was fairly empty) My husband walked in and we were told the same thing by another young lady. A third young lady came and sat us down in the one spot where 3 people could fit before my daughter arrived.We are all seated and this “salty “ server Jana came to serve us. She acted like she was doing us a favour. She was trying to hurry us up to order , her thick Eastern European accent made it difficult to understand.Thankfully the food came quickly and was brought to us by a very pleasant young lady. As we finished a girl named Teresa came by. I believe she was managing the place and she saved the day.She talked to us about how it was slower than expected on a weekend. She was so happy we enjoyed our meal.She surprised us with some complimentary baking to take home at the end of our visit.The food was very good.

We had to wait about one hour to be seated (11am weekend), which was totally worth it! Food is super fresh and tasty. The sausage was so so good! Benedict was delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. We loved everything we had here. We’ll be back soon!

A cute small bakery with very nice sweets and breakfast. Inside it's very loud at the prime time but except that it's absolutely lovely.

Quality of food is great I enjoyed their baked goods and delicious coffee. Had to wait about 5 minutes before anyone approached us to seat us and it wasn't prime time anymore. Sat down to a wiped down table but the chairs were still quite damp and wasn't pleasant to sit on. Would consider coming back to try their brunch in the future.

I love their Heritage Veggie Hash.Tastes amazingly good as well as their tomato soups with grilled cheese.Whenever we don’t find a good place for brunch, Lift is our option to go to!

Finally got a chance to try this place! Excellent customer service and the place is so warm to dine in. Went with the Eggs Benedict and the veggie Hash and it took me by surprised how tasty the hash was!

Most definitely one of the best brunch places I’ve ever been to and I’m a frequent brunch goer. The food here is delicious, they put so much thought and effort into the little things that make each dish memorable. The shredded potatoes were cooked to perfection, most other place I’ve been to have never made it so well. Even the presentation of the hot sauce and ketchup looked elegant and that’s hard to achieve. The portion sizes are great, I absolutely love that they give you the option of ordering half for most items because I could not finish a whole dish alone.The decor and ambience is fantastic, the patio seating is super cute as well. Would definitely come back.

This is a definite must-try place in North Vancouver for brunch food. A local friend of mine introduced me to this place and I was very pleased with my experience. Staff were friendly and very attentive. I ordered the smoked trout benny and a lavender latte. While the latte was good, I didn't taste much of the lavender. The smoked trout was thick and flavourful. Overall, it was a really good meal. Will definitely return!
