Nice crew. My windows were installed in Feb. 2020. By spring of 2020 all the argon gas had leaked out and of course lots of moisture between the panes. After months of conversations and of course Covid so I was patient concerning this matter. Nov. they show up and I baked them goodies because I am nice like that. The panes were ALL replaced. I was pleased with the service and workmanship. Christmas Day my daughter looks at the window pane. She see's a crack about 8 inches long going across the entire window it's the outside pane and of course argon gas leaked out as well. That happened quickly because it wasn't there Christmas Eve. It almost looks like the pane was installed to tightly and now allowing expansion for cold and heat. I contacted the company that monday morning and left multiple messages all polite I don't seen the need to be rude. Still to this day. Nothing. Someone has to be retrieving messages. So far no response. I feel that I have been extremely patient and if I don't hear from them this coming week. I will take that next step, I won't be recommending this company to anyone. A crew can be great but it's the workmanship you pay for not personality. So far I am so displeased at that very thing. I have two very good friends who are contractors and I will be letting them know about this situation. I can tolerate one mistake but two? Not so much.Maybe you will contact me now.

Do not use this company! They are a scam and will avoid honoring their warranty. I have been waiting 8 months for replacement windows.Many options out there, don't pick this one.Dec 16, 2022 I am still waiting!Terrible customer service!!

Earlier today a young woman in customer service really helped me out. I am repairing a screen for a friend, and have found it impossible to source appropriate vinyl corners to fit the rails for this screen. In this day and age, with 'right to repair' becoming an increasingly hot topic, I am very happy to be dealing with a company that supports its own products. Thank you VWD.

After replacing all our home's windows manufactured by VWD Ltd., most recently, the seal in 2 panes of different windows became defective Aug/2020. Long story short, as of this issue, the warranty after service has been TERRIBLE. After long delays, multiple emails/calls, we've had incorrect grilles in the replacement panes 5X; not even bringing the pane for one of them most recently today. There is NO excuse for such utter incompetence and delay!

Worst customer service I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Purchased a new custom front entry door unit from VWD two years ago. A month after it was installed, the door sweep broke on it and I was told that this was covered under the warranty. Well, numerous phone calls over a period of about 10 months, I was assured time and time again that a replacement door sweep was being shipped out to me immediately. This is an easy fix if they would ever send me the part…it was defective from the manufacturer to begin with. Diego, you still haven’t sent me the door sweep, and it has been two years now. I gave up calling them. Because of this, I would not purchase any other products from VWD because their warranty (and their word) means nothing. It’s really a sad way to lose customers.Update: As a result of this review, VWD has contacted me and resolved the situation by finally delivering the door sweep. I’m not sure what the reason was that it took so long, possibly a Covid related issue, but at least I have it now. Thank you to Diego for ultimately responding to my frustration, it is much appreciated.

Purchased this house 12 years ago and was told windows were about 3 years old at the time. Most of the rubber weather stripping are falling off. Reached out to the company asking about their warranty or how to repair. No response. Wouldn't recommend their product or service

As a contractor with a 40 year track record of quality homes, we started using VWD thinking they would be a competent supplier of high quality products. Sure the pandemic has had an effect on everyone. I am very understanding and willing to work with a company who stands behind their product. 8 months and many canceled service days with clients waiting at home (canceled after the scheduled appointment time), we can no longer work with this company. would I recommend to a friend? No. Will I use them again? Never. my VWD patio door is 2 yrs old and I am going to pay to switch it with an OSTACO moose door, this is a worthwhile loss for a better quality product. Still waiting for the VWD rep to respond to my review.

The windows look good at first.. however they do not last,glass failure every two years,mold in between window panes..I did not purchase Double Glazed 4mm Solar Shield Argon new windows to have the glass fail every two years.Also had leaking issues for years on some windows,Mark finally resolved the problem. Not sure if he is still service manager.Too bad window quality of the glass is so poor.

Windows were ordered back in May and arrived at the end of July, just short of 14 weeks. The main window has stains on the inside between the 2 panes and a replacement window was ordered. Here it is almost mid October and no window replacement. We were told it shipped 2 weeks ago? It does not take 2 weeks to go from Toronto to Cochrane. 1 star review and once we get the window replaced, will change the review.Update: Replacement window finally arrived and installed on October 22. It has the same issue as the first one, stains on the inside of the 2 panes. I guess another 14+ weeks waiting for a replacement for the replacement, meaning a middle of January install.

Horrible. Terrible customer service. I made a call to inquire about transfering the warranty to new home owners. After 2 messages left and no return phonecalls, I finally reached someone today. I was told it would cost $150 to transfer the warranty even though this was not stated on our warranty document. The customer service rep continued to tell me the transfer fee was stated on the document, even though it clearly is not. I even offered to email him a screenshot of the warranty, only for him to tell me I have the incorrect document. Would never recommend this company to anyone and will never, ever use their products again. Wish I could give zero stars. Ugg ...
