do bot care about kids at all just another stupid thing the goverment added let kids have opportunities and stop taking them away u guys r a disgrace

The grounds are beautiful, green and peaceful. Local artists work is featured, including bronze figurines of children playing and a mother reading to her daughter. A totem pole also graces the entrance to the VSB.

L school board, we had a blizzard yesterday and someone from the school board really woke up and said “perfect weather to send your kids to school”

The international department staffs are extremely rude and unethical. The receptionist of the department can't even speak English. I got mistreated by the VSB and I couldn't find a way to report them when I was just a vulnerable International student.

Pleasant receptionist and they knew where to send us etc. But didn't like the waiting.love the outside area especially the sculptures.

Contacted the VSB rentals department to inquire about renting some gym space to play basketball. It was one of the most terrible experiences I have ever had. Everyone I talked to in the rentals department sounded like they had no interest in helping out and had the worst attitude. They took long to respond to emails and the main contact Deborah never answers her phone. They are also extremely unorganized and seem like they do not know what they are doing. The Vancouver School Board needs to either train all the staff in the rentals department again or fire them. Deborah and her team have left me stunned with there negativity and lack of support. I am now dealing with the North Van School District and they have accepted us with open arms. They are extremely pleasant and great to deal with. I highly recommend dealing with the North Van district. Don’t do anything with the VSB look elsewhere.

Put me in the system as another person because I share the same name as them... when I logged in I had all of the other's persons information where they lived, emergency contact and PEN - Date of birth and phone # - so that means they can log in and see my info.

Short receptionist with glasses needs to be retrained in how to interact with people. Unfortunately for all parties involved, she's the face of the VSB for the public. Despite this, for some reason she cannot, or will not, explain things in a courteous, clear manner - you know, one of the key aspects of her job. Consider a replacement.
